The best part was driving through Kings Park. The commentary was pretty good. Sadly this tour left me thinking Perth hasn’t got much. There’s a lot of derelict buildings & lots of construction. How odd to keep a fascade of a building & get rid of the rest. I’m disappointed and don’t think it was worth $50.

Edit: As per the response below, there was nothing posted on the stop at Pier 3 and I called at 12:41pm to the number on the website who confidently told me that the buses were running today. We were also not the only people waiting at this stop and information did say the buses were running. Not sure where it was posted on the website.

We love a good hop on hop off bus and came to do this on Sunday 12th Jan. We asked information and also called them and were told they were running. Waited at the Barracks stop, Pier 3 for over an hour and called it quits. On our walk we then came to another Perth explorer stop that has a sign saying that the buses were not running over the weekend. A sign at the major stop at Pier 3 would have been very useful. Not sure why the company told us it was running if it wasn't. I am sure it would be quite a good trip but they get a poor review due to poor organisational skills.

Rode the Perth tourist bus mainly for the novelty to take my toddler son on an open top double decker bus while his sisters were watching the ballet. The day price for an adult was $20 and he was free. You can get on and off as many times you like but the bus only comes every hour, so you need to really schedule the stops so you don't miss them. We used it twice no issues and were the only onces on it an they have two buses in circulation at the time. I found that at stops the bus can be up to 5 minutes late. Free headphones were provided and I found the audio guide quite informative. Overall a good experience.

Been on this wonderful tour bus. Was great time spent. The driver is very funny and has great knowhow about Perth city. A must thing to do for anyone who goes to Perth

For someone who hasn't seen western Australia this can be an option. Actually, I expected more when I took the tour. The bus needs some upgrading in my opinion. The sound system definitely needs improvement since one can hardly understand what is being said on the P.A. Not enough information that would have made the tour enjoyable. As we travel the annotation of the speaker missed most of the place being referred to in the broadcast. Except for the friendly operator, everything else needs improvement.
