Went on the wombat and kangaroo tour with my partner. Dave was extremely friendly and shared many knowledge bites throughout the trip, making it super fun!! Please book directly with them if possible, as the other platforms take a significant cut (~40%). They have a promo code for a discount on their site now!

The tour entailed viewing of multiple viewpoints, 2 waterfalls, animal sightings of kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, flying foxes and kookaburras. Lunch was at a pie shop while dinner was at a bar.

Definitely a must go if you’re in Sydney.

This day with Dave is absolutely effortless and awesome. No need to think about food or drinks he covers it all and, it’s at the perfect time of day when hunger kicks in. It is not what I would call an easy drive, but he drives the bus like a pro. Any information you want to know about where or what he has a deep knowledge of it. My partner and I had a perfect day of seeing heaps of kangaroos and wildlife. Could not have asked for more. You are in great hands with Dave and, it’s worth every penny, if not more.

This is just brilliant! Dave is a wonderful person and a fabulous guide. The wombats were a super highlight along with Dave's knowledge about these adorable animals. He took amazing photos for everyone, which really added to the experience. The sunset where we saw the wombats and kangaroos was spectacular as well. Dave made sure that we had scenic stops all along the way so that we didn't spend any length of time sitting in the bus. The walks were easy, which was important with a large group with some younger and older people. He was very, very diligent about pointing out toilets and how long to the next toilet - again so, so important with a larger group. The bus was comfortable and Dave played nice music along the way. Dave provides everything you need except your camera - water, snacks, umbrellas - so all you need to do is show up and enjoy yourself. All in all, just fabulous. A MUST do!

Such a great day with Dave! Our visits to multiple national parks and beautiful countryside was wonderful and then to finish up the day with so many kangaroo and wombat encounters was the best! Dave is very friendly and helpful with making sure everyone has enough snacks, drinks and bathroom breaks and will take amazing pictures for you.

What a fun excursion! Dave went out of his way to make this a special trip. He provided a lot of information as we toured and made sure to pull over if he saw something he could point out along the way. The natural parks were beautiful and seeing the wombats and kangaroos out in nature up close was incredible! He also provided drinks, snacks, WiFi and eagerly helped take photos. This was truly the highlight of our trip to Sydney.

Our family had an excellent day out with Dave checking out the kangaroos and wombats. Dave is a great guy, very knowledgeable and entertaining, and everything about the day was exactly as described. If you have a few days in Sydney and want to get up close with wombats (and a little less close with kangaroos), this is a great way to spend a day.

We had an amazing day with Dave, and the animals did not disappoint. Birds, wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, and many more delights plus he took excellent care of us with snacks and drinks and lunch and dinner. His small group tour is the way to do it. We also saw some amazing scenery and we're glad we did this instead of the Blue Mountain tour

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed both tours we took with Perfect Day Sydney. Dave, the owner and guide, was fabulous: easy going, fun to chat with, very informative, and always willing to take our photos. (His hobby is photography so all of his pictures were better than mine!) The tour bus is new and comfortable and even has WiFi onboard. There were well-planned breaks throughout to stretch your legs and use the toilet. Plus Dave provides everything you might have forgotten: umbrellas, jackets, snacks, water, even has a few extra phone charging blocks!

On the Wombat tour we spent an enjoyable 11 hours exploring the wilderness outside Sydney. The combination of nature walks, view points, waterfalls and wildlife made the time fly by! We not only saw the anticipated wombats and kangaroos but also some wallabies and many beautiful birds. The meals on the tour were also very good, served efficiently, but not rushed. We were so pleased with this excursion that we booked another tour with Dave the following day.

On our Flying Foxes tour, Dave drove us about 30mins from downtown Sydney to a small nature reserve area in the middle of a residential neighborhood. We watched 100s, maybe 1000s, of huge fruit bats roosted in the trees, some even holding their babies! I was surprised how active the bats were. Some flying around, some interacting with each other- even in the middle of the day! Dave also offered a few fancy digital cameras to share for better viewing and closeup photos! Another super enjoyable adventure!

I cannot recommend Perfect Day Sydney highly enough! Not only does it feel good to support his independent business but also Dave honestly provides a superior experience! These two tours were our favorite things we did in Sydney!
