Must try tour in Pemberton.Andy is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful.We really enjoyed the picnic in between with delicious home made cake, garden fresh berries and coffee.

We will definitely try again.Andy please don't retire soon ?

Tour started at 8.30am and finished at 1pm.Upstream canoeing first and then downstream.Break for picnic and swimming(if interested).Then canoeing back to where started.

We had a great time with Andy. There is no better way to spend a morning in Pemberton than floating down a beautiful river with an expert local guide with great conversation and knowledge of the area, history, flora and fauna. Highly recommend to anyone coming to the area.

I had contacted Andy by email before my arrival in Oz and he was prompt and helpful in reply. My 13yr old son and I decided to try a night canoe trip. Andy met us at the river where we were camping and was immediately energetic and entertaining. We set off upstream with Andy continuously informing us about the local flora and fauna and settlement history. The paddling was sedate and relaxing.
Once we had reached a fallen Karri tree we turned and headed back downstream, stopping en route for supper. Avocados from his garden, lovely cheeses, crackers etc were rounded off by fresh coffee, milo and a delicious homemade cake, the remains of which we took home with us.
After supper we continued downstream as darkness fell and switched on our spotlights to search for critters in the trees and river. This was great fun, with marron and perch clearly visible under the surface and water spiders crawling on top. Black cockatoos flew squabbling overhead, kookaburras laughed at our technique and, having negotiated some gentle rapids, we settled in a lower pool to enjoy the wonders of a star-filled sky and rising moon.
It is hard to imagine a better guide than Andy. He is thoroughly endearing and amusing and we felt safe and comfortable at all times.
Others who had originally organised the trip failed to turn up (please don't do this, he is a one man operator) but Andy refused my offer of paying for the usual minimum of 2 adults, so we had a personal guide at a bargain cost, and he even drove us back to our campsite to save us the walk home!
All of the offered hikes and trips sound great, and when next in the area we plan on taking a few days' hike for a real getaway experience.
I could not recommend Andy any higher. He is a fount of facts and tales and a truly good bloke.

Our tour guide Andy was really friendly, knowledgeable knew how to provide a great tour.
The scenery was beautiful and looking at the trees from the canoe was a great perspective.
