Best cafe! The staff remembers you even after months and they look out for my dad who has Alzheimers, stopping to talk to him and having a laugh. One of the best cafes in Melbourne. The food is delicious too!

I have visited Pausa Pranzo many times, and each time it has been a great experience!
Italian meals done really well, authentic, well made & fresh.
Each time I visit, I make it a habit to try a different Panino as they have a massive option list, or I'd have one of the special pastas on the menu.
This time, I also had culurgiones which was delicious.
The staff is extremely friendly and the ambience is very cozy, it makes you feel like you are back in Italy - very authentic!
Overall, one of my go-to spots.

I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while and finally had the chance — and it did not disappoint. I rarely leave reviews, but this place truly deserves one. Easily the best coffee I’ve had in this area it was made to perfection. I also had a panino, which was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I saw this place was always popular and so busy. Chewy great tomato pasta and a latte dine in, and an apricot croissant for takeaway. The pasta was delicious. I’ll definitely come back here again. Croissant with apricot jam was also very good.

Always having good panini here. We had some coffee with Salami panini and special meatball panini which were nice. I like that they toast the bread so it gives crunchy texture when you bite. Recommend 👍

Came here for a Saturday lunch with a friend. Located at a less busy end of High st so there are parking options.

Plenty of seating: outside, inside, table, bar high chair seating, drawing room style with large tables and even a courtyard out the back.

Tables are small and cosy with larger options for groups. Place has warm atmosphere plenty of light.

Menu has paninis, salads and antipasto. We had the spaghetti from the specials menu, panini, chinotto and espresso.

Plenty of Italian goods you can buy as well like Panettone, pasta, canned tomatoes, chocolates, wafers etc.

This place is also known for its Sicilian style bakery, wanted to get something but everything was already sold out, need to get in by latest 9am to avoid disappointment.

Food, prices and services are great - 10/10 I will eat here again.
