I was feeling nervous about snorkelling as this was my first time and I’m not a good swimmer. But the crew was amazing and made us feel so safe. Heath who was our guide kindly took us around the beautiful parts of the reef and it was an amazing experience. We saw a ton of beautiful corals, various fish and a sea turtle. The lunch was super yummy and tea/coffee, snacks were served in the morning and on the way back. Overall highly recommend Passions of Paradise to anyone who wants to explore the great barrier reef (even if you are a non swimmer or a first time snorkeler like me). A big shoutout to Heath and the rest of the wonderful crew!! It truly was a once in a lifetime experience ♥️

5-star experience through and through!
Welcomed with a smile everywhere we go, both on land when we book the tour (thanks Jo!) and on board (beautiful service by Marco and Team).
Not a single moment I felt anything was amiss, there’s always a crew member around ready to assist, even when snorkeling in the ocean.
Superb safety precautions, beautiful and clean vessel.
Saw 2 reef sharks and beautiful marine life on both reef locations.
Meal is beautiful too.
Won’t go with any other tours next time we’re in town!

Wasn't sure which to book, spoke with Hannah the legend at the desk, read reviews and did it. Had Simon as the dive instructor awesome chap, I would thoroughly recommend it. Locations were legend. Top crew and trip, keep up the good work guys.

My husband and I are certified divers but we hadn’t dive for a long time. We also took our two teenagers for an introductory scuba dive. The crew accomodated our needs perfectly and they were very kind. Justin and Per were very gentle and helpful, making the family experience very special.
Highly recommend it.

What an awesome experience. We loved everything about our excursion with Passions. The crew was amazing! They were polite, friendly and so incredibly kind. I was very anxious about snorkeling and trying a scuba dive. But they made sure I felt comfortable and soothed my worries away. Heath was our scuba instructor and he was absolutely the best!
The hot lunch was delicious. The equipment was in good condition and the boat was comfortable and spacious. I would 100% recommend going out to the reef with Passions!

My mum and i traveled with passions of paradise on Sunday the 9th June on a snorkelling and scuba diving tour. From the moment we boarded the vessel we were greeted by a professional, friendly and accommodating team of staff.
The complimentary food and beverage was amazing, especially the hot buffet lunch that was served to us by a chef.
The captain drew was very helpful and on board at all times watching the swimmers and assisting with equipment and anything needed. I have a rotator cuff injury that stopped me from putting my wet suit on properly but Andrew a crew member was very helpful to ensure a didn’t do further damage.

We absolutely loved the beautiful snorkeling spots, we had hours of time to explore the reef and relax.

If you’re looking for a reputable, safe and memorable day choose passions of paradise. You will not be disappointed!

Really really awesome ? I always wanted to do the Great Barrier Reef, and this trip was fantastic. There's always complimentary tea and coffee. A big platter of fruit all cut up and ready for the start of the journey. It takes 2 hrs to get to one of the reefs, some of us saw bottlenose dolphins on the way there right next to the boat which was the cherry on top ? (I asked a marine biologist onboard and they said they were bottlenose dolphins). Got to meet people from around the world and know their stories and journeys which was great.

We got a 2hr swim (equipment included), lunch (which was needed as it can get tiring swimming nonstop for 2 hrs, but the staff had their eye on us at all times anyway) and then another 2hr swim in another reef that the captain chose based on the weather. That being said, don't let it intimidate you as there are kids as young as 5 years old and much older folks that did just fine, and if you're ever tired you can jump back on the boat at any time, along with emergency hand signals if you feel like you're in trouble. The reef was so beautiful and breathtaking I didn't notice how tired I was until the end of the swims, I could not stop taking pictures!
On the way back they served desserts (cheesecake ?) and gave us a presentation about the marine life and great barrier reef itself from a marine biologist. I felt like the company truly looked after us at all times and would highly recommend this even to solo travellers ?
