ParkView Holiday Houses - Halls Gap, Victoria

Since 2006 we've stayed at least once a year in one of the 3 ParkView Holiday Houses with our extended family (aged 3 - 76 years), from Melbourne, Warragul, Merimbula NSW and the Netherlands. We enjoyed the ParkView NORTH Holiday House the most (accommodates up to 12 people, 4 bedrooms) because of the really spacious open plan kitchen, diner and sitting area. Some years we hired the more formal ParkView SOUTH as well, at the same period (accommodates up to 13 people, 5 bedrooms). The youngsters like the pooltable in this villa and the Sunny porch. Very good beds, soft doonas, doona covers, pillows and blankets supplied (towels and linen available upon request). Electric blankets on all queen size beds. Both houses have a laundry, wood supplied and great views on the local cricketfield, where every late afternoon (and around Sunrise) the kangaroos gather, hopping in from the hilly forests. The village centre is on short walking distance, but just far enough to avoid the rumour! These selfcontained and very comfortable houses are located in an extremely quiet location, in despite of neighbour holiday houses. The Grampians National Park is really on back doorstep. Several free bushwalking tracks start even around the corner. Like our favourites: the 'Venus Bath' walk [a picturesque area with a fresh water mini-lake (natural pool) and many unusual rock formations, located at the end of a short, easy grade 2.3km walk] and the 'Elephant hights'. We walked, visited all waterfalls and lakes, climbed rockwalls and abseiling. In short, all supplies, terms and arrangements you can ask for / dream of are gathered in the ParkView Holiday Houses, for a great holiday and for a worthwhile price in The Grampians National Park, just a 3 hours drive from Melbourne!

My name is Glo and we stayed during the Australia Day weekend.

Great accommodation for big groups. Very close to nature. You’ll see kangaroos and cuckatoos in the surroundings making it more enjoyable for the kids. The house is in very good condition with complete amenities. You won’t get bored. We’ll definitely go back in our next holiday in Halls Gap.
