I attended a university alumni reunion at the Park Proxi Gibraltar Bowral. Both check in and check out experiences were simple and efficient. There was plenty of car parking space that included two electric vehicle charging places. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was large and the hot water plentiful. There was little noise after dark. The grounds were pleasant and green although a little squelchy underfoot after all the recent rain. In a more typical weather pattern they would provide lovely walks on site. On the second day of my stay some golfers did get out for a swing on the site's own golf course. Bowral is only a few minutes drive away or 25 minutes' walk. There are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants to help while away the hours. I travelled to and from Bowral by train from western Sydney. It was a pleasant relaxing trip.

Had read some mixed reviews prior to our stay but was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Our package of inclusions (breakfast, chocolates, wine and late check-out) were all available upon check-in. Buffet breakfast was satisfactory with plenty of hot food available. ||Views from our room over the golf course were terrific with ducks just outside our window. Looks like a great hotel to host a work retreat as well. Would stay here again.

I found Park proxy to be so restful peaceful and luxurious. I stayed for work and I wish I could have stayed longer. There were beautiful additional touches to the room. The bed extremely comfortable the towels so soft and fluffy, generous Appelles body product. The food was nutritious and healthy. The staff were very helpful, conveniently located near Centennial Vineyard and of course the golf course. Everything is there there is no need to go anywhere else!

Great room size, very comfy beds. We made use of the gym and indoor pool which were great and we had a nice view over the golf course. ||There was a maintenance issue with a leaking sink during our stay. Although not resolved staff were responsive and did send someone to change a washer however it was a bigger issue. ||The restaurant onsite was ok/ satisfactory however we definitely had better meals and a more polished restaurant experiences in other restaurants in Bowral.

From the moment we arrived at Park Proxi, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed home. Our room was spotless, stylish, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The real highlight, however, was the staff—warm, accommodating, and genuinely lovely, especially when it came to our spirited 2-year-old. As is often the case with great stays, our only regret was not booking a few extra nights. We’ll be back—next time for longer!

A lovely hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The food and beverage options available at the Bar and Lotus restaurant were of high standard. Service staff were friendly and professional.

Great place to relax with stunning golf course views. Spacious rooms, year-round pool, and a lovely ambiance—perfect for special events.

The restaurant was only open once during our three-night stay, which was disappointing. The bar was great, with a welcoming bartender.

The location can be tricky to find on your first visit. We also left items behind on both trips,our son’s two toy bunnies the first time, and a small electric fan the second. Tried calling, but no one answered.

Overall, a great stay with a few minor issues.

Really disappointing, fridge in my room was absolutely filthy, heating does not work, food is average. Service was so disappointing. Only highlight was the amazing bartender during the day who was fantastic at recommendations.
So many better, cleaner places to stay in Bowral.
