Well it was like stepping back in time. 1960 maybe. Small room with paper thin walls. Pub right in the car park which had good food. Music could be heard from the room till late. Could hear people talking outside all night and even a person playing guitar at 3am. Great place for backpackers. Right near the beach Clean bed no aircond and a tv that’s it. Minimalist

These are simple but comfortable rooms at the back of the Hoey Moey, a popular pub that has regular live music.

Comfortable sleep, all basic amenities included, friendly and helpful staff.

A tiny square box. No air conditioning! Fan only on a 30 deg day, with sun streaming in window.
Has it's own hotel, if that suits you, and a large room for guests to meet and play.. Mostly backpackers seem to stay there. Communal kitchen so no bowls or cutlery in rooms.
Cleaning staff very nice and friendly.

Good location. The rooms are very small and simple. The $$ is only for location.
Make sure you have plenty of beers so you get to sleep.

Two star Motel right on the beach.
Basic room amenities and top $$.

I wanted to stay here for the location; I would not recommend this place to others. It’s a backpackers hostel charging hotel prices.

Misleading information on booking!
Live music runs 5 days a week and the venue is more a club than a bar.
The dance floor is about 10 metres away from the bedrooms so there is no chance of sleeping until that finishes ie 1am.
Management is rude and insulting if you complain about any of this.

Absolute rip off.||$380 for one night, noisey pub next door, tiny room, not even a hand basin in the bathroom it’s so tiny, nor an exhaust fan. Middle of summer, NO AIR CONDITIONING at all. ||For $380 these people are thieves. Do NOT come here. ||Oh, and it’s a non refundable booking fee. They know you will bolt just as fast as you can if they didn’t. ||This place is an overpriced run down dump. ||Run like HELL is my advice. ||So VERY angry about this booking.

Basic hotel room, no air conditioning, although not needed this time of year. Older style and the room is small. All good for a one night stop while driving north or south. The small bathroom and shower were super clean. Strangely there is no basin in the bathroom but there is a kitchen sink in the bedroom, however there isn't a kitchenette. Having said that I would consider staying there again for the right price.

Only saving grace, it next to the beach.

Absolute thieves.
Non refundable booking, I know why.
Once you see the tiny little rooms and the fact you have NO AIR CONDITIONING in a room they charged you $380 for one night.
You would grab your stuff and BOLT into the distance.

Do not come to this place, learn from my experience. I didn’t even look at the ammenities. I mean really, who could justifiably charge that much money for such a shit room with no A/C.

Heaps of noise from the pub next door, bathroom so small it doesn’t have a hand basin in it. Not even an exhaust fan if you’re sharing the room a need to go.

As we were leaving my wife spotted the cleaners make our bed. They didn’t change the sheets.

Sooo, VERY angry. Hate being ripped off.
