The task was to freight a fragile model ship, Newcastle to Hervey Bay.. It was superbly packed with a special frame built to protect it in the carton. No room for error. A lot of creative thought and work was put in to pack-technique and it was successful. A brilliant job. Highly recommended. Thank you guys! Well done!

Looking to ship to/from internationally This is my easy online recommendation from one who doesn't readily do so. I've looked for a decade for a special USA chair made for Yale graduates in 1980's and one popped up on eBay in rough shape - in Palm Springs, California (CA). Purchased and had sent across US via UPS to original maker in Connecticut (CT) who restored. Before complete and packaged (double-boxed), I searched for best and most affordable shipper - in US and AU, both by sea and air. Furthermore, chair was in regional CT and I live in regional NSW. I found Adamstown Pack & Send simply because was closest P&S to me (still 157km away). They provided quick quote, adjusted when box size changed, then waited weeks to enact while restorer completed/packed. Gets better: team effort with clear email and phone communications which included their third party (my restorer) where piece was picked up by DHL at exact time arranged, then tracked every day/hour after, door/door. Here to me by air in 6 days, perfect condition - including cleared customs where they said upfront I'd have no problems based on what I was shipping, and I didn't!! I've had US import customs issues in past both for art & furniture so I was disbelieving. Next closest quote was US shipper by sea for 30% more, no schedule. I can't imagine a more difficult task going as flawlessly at every step, so if your task is easier - and especially international, you need look no further.

I paid $300 for something to be shipped to Melbourne overnight. I was told I'd be given updates along the way and as the item was urgent, that it would arrive well and truely in time.
I received no updates and had to call Adamstown to request a tracking number. They told me it had arrived in Melbourne but I only discovered this after calling in myself.

It was being shipped to Richmond. NO ONE mentioned that the entire business was closing down between Xmas and NY. Therefore, when the recipient went to pick up the item, she discovered the location was closed.

Terribly disappointed and will be asking for a refund.
