Such a great location with amazing amenities. The service and staff were 100% welcoming and helpful.
Our room was OK. It was a bit musty and the heater did take quite some time to warm up. The kitchen wasn’t as clean as we would have expected - and the microwave was filthy, but the rest of the room was immaculate. The grounds were so pleasant to walk through and the beach is right there!
Dinner was a bit average, but breakfast was really enjoyable.

Lovely resort, beautiful grounds and pool area. Reception staff were all great, one in particular standing out and deserves a special mention, JESS, was so awesome and gave our stay the extra star 🌟 Happy hour at the bar is worth while. Rooms a little dated and the big bed being 2 singles pushed together wasnt the most comfortable but the pillows were good. Easy access to beach to watch stunning sunrises. Close to Coffs Harbour and all the attractions will stay again

I needed to make a stop overnight from Sydney and got a one bedroom apartment at a bargain price! Amazing value for money! Very spacish with modern finishes and great service accommodating my late night check in. Superb value for the price, I will definitely return when in the area.

Absolutely amazing! Great prices, decently spacious. I came here with 6 more people, and we fit like a glove. Absolutely no complaints. This place is amazing. Coming from Queensland, driving here was grueling but it was worth it. A lot of utilities, attractions and markets very close making it convienient. Love the free tea as well.

We are saddened to write this review but we have been falsely accused for damage done to the carpet in room 1320. We booked a simple room because Coffs was our last stopover on our road trip to Qld. Upon arrival and check-in one of the staff members at the front desk told us we have been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment free of charge. We didn't need such a big apartment for our one night stay (hence we didn't book it) but were grateful for the "goodwill gesture". We found out the hard way that the so called "goodwill gesture" was anything but that.
Someone in this resort knows who is the culprit of the damage/burn on the carpet but for whatever reason is covering them up, blatantly lying about the condition of the room/carpet and the position of the chair that was apparently covering the damaged/burnt carpet. We were also accused of moving furniture around to cover up the damage. If the cleaners (or whoever else had access to the room before and after us) were so "honest" they would have noticed the chair that was next to the bed (near the bathroom door) in the main bedroom before we even walked into the apartment. Whoever moved the chair after we left and was "surprised" of the damage under the chair, either knew that the damage was there before we stayed in the room, or they know who does and are covering up. My sons and I have absolutely nothing to hide. We have now been left with no choice by to start legal proceedings.
This will sadly cost the resort and/or whoever is involved in this matter so much more than the amount taken out of our account by Pacific Bay Resort without our approval and TOTALLY ON FALSE PRETENSES.
Part of the last email from the "operations manager" read as follows:

"We consider this matter now closed. However, should you choose to pursue the issue further, please be advised that we will seek the full cost of damages, which may be up to $1,500."

I don't know about you but unless you have something to hide you would not be "threatening into silence" innocent holiday makers (my sons and I) that have sadly been made into "scapegoats".
We will not stop pursuing this matter (even though threatened otherwise above) only because my sons and I have done nothing wrong and we wish to clear our names of any wrong doing. If it takes a legal case and Current Affair than so be it.
WARNING to all that may book to stay in this resort in the future, take photos of every inch of the room you are assigned to. You will in turn STOP them from falsely accusing you of damage that was already there before you even got there.
TRUST ME, WE ARE SPEAKING FROM A PAINFUL EXPERIENCE
This whole unfair ordeal has caused my sons and I a lot of distress.
The ACTUAL TRUTH will be out and lies exposed.
NOTE TO RESORT MANAGEMENT: in future, unless you have investigated thoroughly, don't throw accusations so easily at innocent people that were upgraded to a room they didn't ask for. If this terrible ordeal didn't happen, we would have left a 10/10 review and you would have gotten many people coming to stay at your resort because of our referral BUT instead you are getting this very bad review on management and unfair and dishonest treatment of my sons and I.
We love Coffs but will definitely be bypassing this resort in the future

Pacific Bay Resort - when we first got into our room it was very immediately noticed it was not like what was pictured in the photo. Layout yes. But noted it's outdated brown carpets and marks all over the walls with a very rusty air-conditioning unit and dirty tiles on outside balcony. The balcony however was big. |I didn't think I would enjoy the stay....|But...|Our first night, the bed was actually very comfy and had a really good night's rest, kids even slept in (woohoo) as it's a very quiet area. It really just got better from there as we explored the resort and all it had to offer. |I would really like to see the executive one bedroom with a bit more happiness to it and love; it would have given you that 5 star satisfaction. Maybe we will call on our next trip to see if there is a better room. Revamp the kitchen to make it appealing like the photos looked with picture frames and a clock.. With a nice carpet and new paint job.|The outdoors is very well maintained, beautiful scenery and beach walk and the kids liked that play area with snakes and ladders, hope scotch, handball and soccer court! Love that idea! And tennis courts and games room.|Staff have all been professional, accommodating and happy 😁|Thanks 👍

We stayed for 3 days and well what a shock I found when we came into our room. Paying this sought of money just wasnt expecting 2 star accomadation.
The cushions on the bed had stains all over them, the bed pillows were so old with covers over them that should have been thrown out years ago. The TV had broken pixels on the screen. The lamp shade had a tear on the shade and well worn out. The unit was clean although it does need up dating . If you are an older person or had any form of disability you wouldnt be able to have a shower as it around 650 cm in height on the spa bath was dirty with marks on it. The shower head is old , the taps in the shower and kitchen drip all the time if you dont turn them off dead tight. Going to breakfast was a distance from the unit, once there the staff were very accomadating and very helpful at all times. We had dinner there on the first night Egor made the best cocktail for me . The manager of the restaurant was super helpful as well.
When paying my bill at the front counter Bill and Jimi were super friendly and listened to my concerns. High five guys. My over all opinion is that the resort does need to up date over all for more wheel chair access as this resort has so many stairs and no elevators in the building I stayed in. Spoke to thers in the building said the same thing about the ammount if stairs . I think it was building one. Pay extra attention to the signs when searching for your room although they give you a map as it can get confussing. Ive stayed at many resorts and this was a massive let down.

This hotel seems more suited for tour groups and business delegations; it is not recommended for individual or family travelers. The room facilities are outdated, which makes them feel unclean. While the public areas of the hotel are quite nice
