We completed the Outback Spirit Red Centre Explorer a couple of days ago. It was a fantastic experience visiting some spectacularly beautiful icons of the Australian outback, greatly enhanced by our tour guides Robbie and Iris, who were passionate, enthusiastic and highly organised. They took great care of us, making the whole trip an easy and memorable experience. The coach was first-rate for comfort, always spotlessly clean (and the snack bar was always well stocked!). We walked away well informed thanks to their genuine interest in the Aboriginal culture and history of the region. Who would have thought that our education about Australia’s indigenous heritage in the red centre would be broadened by guides from Germany and the Netherlands!
The accommodation and meals were excellent - and the all-inclusive package meant that the whole trip ran smoothly because everything was taken care of. It’s a quality holiday and we think it was well worth the cost.

We have completed 2 off train experiences with Outback Spirit Tours and both tours were nothing short of amazing and incredible. We did the Red Centre and Kakadu-Arnhem Land tours and saw and learnt so much. How amazing were our tour leaders, Tracy and David and Pascal. This 6-day Uluru tour with Outback Spirit was an absolute dream come true! From start to finish, every moment was perfectly planned and executed. Our guides, Robbie and Iris, were outstanding—super organized, incredibly knowledgeable, and enthusiastic throughout the entire journey. They made sure every aspect of the tour ran smoothly, and their passion for the region's history and culture was contagious. Their insights added so much depth to each location we visited, and their energy kept the group engaged and excited every day.

The tour took us not only to the breathtaking landscapes of Uluru but also to the stunning terrains of Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon. The sunrises and sunsets were beyond magical, and the starry night skies were like nothing I’ve ever seen before. At Kata Tjuta, we explored the remarkable domes and learned about the area’s geological and cultural significance. The walk through Kings Canyon was another highlight, with Robbie and Iris sharing fascinating details about the region’s flora, fauna, and Aboriginal heritage.

The accommodations provided throughout the tour were comfortable and well-chosen, ensuring we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay each night. Robbie and Iris’s meticulous planning made everything feel effortless, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience.

The small group size made the experience feel personal, and the meals provided were delicious and catered to all dietary needs. The walks and hikes were paced perfectly, offering a balance of adventure and relaxation.

Our Outback Spirit adventure was part of our Ghan (train) package. It was the highlight of our trip! A HUGE thank you and shout out to our hosts/guides Robbie and Iris who really did go above and beyond to make our trip comfortable and memorable. Wow - what an adventure Michael (Chappy) from Outback Spirit gave us. We paid a premium price but we got exactly what we paid for. Excellent accommodation, food great and the whole Kimberley adventure was amazing. Fully recommend this Australian tour company for any Outback style tours.

Have recently done the Exquisite Kimberley tour. Had a brilliant adventure in hard times after Covid causing havoc and then Cyclone Ellie. Regardless of many attraction closures, Outback Spirit were fantastic with their itinerary changes. Amazing tour, wonderful staff, incredible scenery, gourmet food and great company. Could not fault Outback Spirit and our wonderful driver/tour guide Drew. Congratulations to Outback Spirit.
