Riding the thermals over Western New South Wales with Outback By Air, we embraced an adventure that tore through the fabric of the ordinary. Guided by the intrepid Phil and Bligh, our pilot extraordinaire, our journey took us across the raw landscapes of Bourke, Tibooburra, Griffith and Broken Hill, each destination unfurling like a page from an untold Australian epic. The experience was peppered with moments that defined the Outback's quirky heart – from a friendly, wandering emu to an unexpected Vietnam War plane nestling in an old hangar. Meeting the local characters, each a living, breathing storybook of the Outback's rich tapestry, was an encounter with the soul of this vast land. This was no mere trip; it was a dive into the essence of a rugged, yet captivating life. Phil and Bligh's service was unparalleled, turning this journey into an unmissable odyssey for those thirsting for the true spirit of the Outback.

A great experience and a trip never to be forgotten. Travelling the outback of Australia is something special and doing it by air takes away the hard work of driving over dirt roads and it can be done in days not weeks. Thanks to a great team Phil, Blair and Ian for their professional approach and making the trip enjoyable. Hope to see you guys on another trip. Keep up the good work. Kind regards, Lon.

Phil brought a wonderful group of young entrepreneurs to our outback property Corynnia Station between Hay and Griffith in NSW.
He was very well organised and the group appreciated a fabulous itinerary jam packed with interesting experiences.
We enjoy offering Phil's groups more of our time than is usually available on our busy station. Although they were only here for one night, his clients loved the meet and greet sundowners and canapés on the homestead terrace, bbq dinner featuring our homestead garden and local produce, Bruce's passionate farm tour showcasing cotton, grains and merino sheep, incredible 360 degree skies and the peace of the outback.
We highly recommend Outback By Air and we look forward to welcoming more of their groups!

So many great memories from the South Australia Escape, everything was first class, and it all flowed seamlessly. Being in our own private aircraft and flying low enough to see this country in all its beauty is an experience of a lifetime. Landing on a private airstrip at a winery in the Barossa Valley was simply amazing, then just a short walk to sample the delights - unforgettable.
Many highlights after seeing Kangaroo Island, Port Lincoln, Coffin Bay, koalas and seals in their natural habitats with local tour guides, plus a memorable evening eating local seafood in a private seafood master class.
We will be back for another trip!

In February we went on the South Australian Escape. It was our second tour with Outback by Air.
It turned out to be a food and wine tasting adventure; in the Barossa, Port Lincoln and Coonawarra. My wife was in seafood heaven in Port Lincoln.
The wine tasting sessions were all hosted for the group by people from the wineries.
Seeing the koalas at close quarters at Kangaroo Island was great as was the quick general explore of the island. It's bigger than you think.
All the other members of the tour had been on at least one tour previously and were fun to be with.
A great way and a different perspective on traveling in Australia. Great pilots and hosts on the trip.
South Australia, not the outback, that's a bit hot in February, but a really terrific trip. We hope to do more tours.

This tour provides the view of awesome ever changing landscapes, a picture of our country that is only possible to see from the air. Each stop represents a quirky interesting slice of the outback from places, to locals within each community. The Pub Crawl allows you to travel distances in a short period of time to give an overall inspiring five days.
