I am a solo traveller and Vic at Our Snowy Tours tailored a fabulous tour that showed me the breathtaking vistas, the history and the latest addition of the Sculpture Walking Trail at the Arboretum. This area and “Our Snowy Tours” is not to be missed by anyone travelling Australia.

Loved it 12/10 would do it again! Mel and Vic provided a fun, interactive tour for my group and I. Was amazing to see how the snowy hydro provides renewable energy to a huge span, along with the beautiful scenery and history of the snowy valleys. Mel and Vic were extremely accomodating, even stopping so I could get photos of the kangaroos! Can’t wait to go again and unlock more treasures!

Vic and Mel run amazing bespoke tours of the Snowy Region. Vic arrived on time in an immaculately detailed Range Rover 4WD. He provided us with water, and then took us to meet some very interesting people. Lunch was an amazing gourmet picnic with the most incredible view, and the afternoon was spent touring the region, seeing the amazing varied landscaped of the snowy region, and doing some brumby spotting.

Vic went above and beyond to give us a memorable day and I highly recommend this day tour to get a feel for the area and see some things that you wouldn't necessarily find on your own. 5 stars!

My wife and I enjoyed a great day with Vic from Our Snowy Tours in their very comfortable Landrover, exploring the rugged back roads around Talbingo and Blowering Dam inaccessible to most cars. Vic tailored the itinerary to our particular interests and requests. We visited the Buddong Falls and the Pilot Pt Aboretum where forester Peter explained the flora of the area, and then went on to Yesteryear Plantations where Paul and Andrea explained the workings of their eucalyptus distillery. While there, we enjoyed a sumptuous lunch with wine while admiring their wonderful view over Blowering Dam and the Gilmore Valley, through which we drove home. Vic was a great driver and wonderful host. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing day looking around the area with Vic!
Vic picked my wife and I up from our accommodation in Gundagai and then we travelled to Batlow and checked out a couple of cider makers. Vic had organised a behind the scenes tour with Dave the owner of Apple Thief Cider which was really interesting. We then travelled to Crafty Cider to sample a bit more of the local produce.
For lunch we stopped at a beautiful spot on the banks of the Tumut River. Vic had organised a beautiful picnic with local produce and I even had time for a quick fish while we were there - unfortunately the one fish I hooked up to got away!
After lunch Vic took us to see parts of the snowy hydro scheme at Blowering and Talbingo Dams which was also really interesting. The outlook from Talbingo dam with the lake and surrounding mountains was spectacular.
We then finished the day sampling some more local produce at Tumit River Brewing Co.
Vic was very friendly and knowledgeable and it was a great way to get to know a little about the local area which we are now definitely keen to explore more.

Wow!
What a great day! We saw places we would not have found and ate gourmet delights with one of the hosts. Sharing authentic stories with local people made the trip so much more enjoyable. Vic was a courteous and personable driver for whom nothing was too much trouble. I thoroughly recommend this day trip escape!

Vik and Mel are two of the most caring tour guides you will ever find. Making every effort to bring our tour a uniqueness and taking the time to understand how our group flowed. The transportation was devine and I could not recommend you book them enough. They will forever be part of some of the greatest memories of my life.

What a wonderful service Mel & Vic provide. We are local & have used their services a couple of times now. They are very obliging to any requests & do a great job getting us & our guests around in safe, fun, clean vehicles.
