My partner and I had such a lovely stay at Oscar’s. The rooms were clean with a beautiful view of the Yarra River, and the breakfast (incl. coffee) was made to order each morning. It was delicious! Thank you Christine and family - you were all so lovely & welcoming and made our trip a memorable one.

We recently stayed for our daughters wedding and everything was absolutely perfect. We were able to book out the entire lodge to accommodate all our overseas travelling guests. Christine and staff were more than accommodating with nothing being too big an ask.
The location is just stunning, beautifully peaceful and reinvigorating..... the perfect way to recharge your battery and the lodge...WOW.... just gorgeous.

Thank you so much for your hospitality and playing such a big part of making Aimee & Cairans wedding absolutely perfect.

What a wonderful experience. Hosts were amazing, couldn't do enough for you. Cooked breakfast every morning. We were part of a group of 20 people and we all had a great time. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and relaxed. Christine and Jason were delightful hosts. The location was very serene and relaxing. The room and bed were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. I would highly recommend Oscar's on the Yarra.

Oscar’s on the Yarra is a hidden gem near Warburton.
We recently stayed here for 2 nights while on a road trip from Queensland. I booked this hotel without knowing its history. When we arrived we were greeted by the very warm and lovely owner Christine who told us the hotel was nearing 100 year old.
This charming hotel has been renovated over the years but fortunately still retains many of its original features. It is on an estate surrounded by beautiful tall trees and green grass overlooking the crystal clear Yarra river. It encapsulates the very essence of tranquility.
Our room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bed very comfy. French doors lead out to a private balcony with views of the beautiful garden and river. Each morning we were served with a delicious home cooked breakfast and a friendly chat with the owners.
Oscar’s on the Yarra has changed names over the years but while talking with the owner we established that the place was where my parents spent their honeymoon 80 years ago. This was a surprise and lovely to learn as they always spoke highly of the guest house they stayed in.
It was a privilege to stay here and to see it still retains the charm, beauty and welcoming atmosphere my parents experienced 80 years ago.
Thankyou so much for making our visit extra special Christine, Jason and family.

A fantastic stay I booked last minute but am very glad for it! Not only is the accommodation great and the breakfast truly delicious, but Christine made it the most memorable stay of the entire trip and turned what was supposed to be a pit stop into a must-visit for future trips.

My husband and I booked a little getaway to celebrate his birthday and stayed in the suite at Oscar's. It was perfect! The host Christine communicated via emails before our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was cosy, clean and spacious with kitchenette, dining/lounge room, bedroom, bathroom, and door opening to a private deck facing a vast backyard and a stream. The place was very quiet and relaxing. There was even a lovely "happy birthday" sign on the kitchenette bench. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and made to order. We had stayed at Oscar's before and will definitely stay there again!

Everything about our stay at Oscars was perfect. From the beautiful location to the comfortable, clean rooms to the delicious breakfast (the home made granola was the best!) and the little extras like a glass of port on the back verandah in the evening. Highly recommend and will most definitely be back.
