Paul, the owner, was amazing. We threw a large, neon, blacklight party for a conference for 1000 people and Paul definitely delivered. The lights looked absolutely amazing! It was better than I could have imagined. Paul's expertise was very helpful while planning the event, and when our team hit a few hiccups, he helped us fix it. During the event, Paul stayed as our DJ. Everything he played was a hit! The song transitions were fantastic and there was a great blend of songs for everyone. I would definitely use One Step Beyond again.

This review is way overdue.
Paul helped us out at our business reception in May of 2023 and words cannot express how thankful I am that we found him. Week's before our event Paul took it upon himself to go out to our venue and take extra pictures and videos of the area to help us plan out the layout of this party. We are located in CA so we would have had a day or two to do this but because of Paul we were able to have a much easier planning process. On the day of our event Paul came earlier than mentioned and worked in the hot sun all day to make sure our event looked great and ran smoothly. At this hotel we were not given the greatest area to throw a reception, but with Paul's decor and lighting we were able to make it work! The pictures here do not do it justice but the lighting was amazing and we had gotten a lot of compliments on the party because of it. Paul even brought some extra lighting for us just because he wasn't't happy with the lighting we were given. This man went above and beyond for our event and I can't thank him enough.
Now he is not the most traditional vendor I have worked with, but do not let that scare you, the guy knows his stuff and goes all out for his clients. Thank you again Paul.

AFTER MY WEDDING REVIEW: One Step Beyond took my wedding to another level! I am a very detailed person who has crazy ideas and Paul did not fail to deliver. His ideas are bigger and crazier than mine and it brought my vision completely to life. The lighted tables, DJ booth, and stage blew my guests away when they walked in! Also, the floor plan including a “VIP” type of feel with white furniture surrounding the dance floor was different than what people had seen and served its purpose to keep guests near the dance floor. I cannot say enough positive things about Paul and his team. He is very professional, personable, and super creative. I trust him with any of my events!

Mr. Paul definitely knows how to capture your ideas and create something magical with them. Every thought we had he took and made them better than we could imagine. Paul was amazing! He ran our event for over 500 people with an amazing lighting, DJ, furniture, the whole setup was absolutely incredible!! We hired Paul, owner of One Step Beyond Events and Rentals, for our wedding reception at Walt Disney's Grand Floridian hotel. His work was nothing short of amazing! Paul went above and beyond to make our day special and he also was great about working within our allotted budget (something any consumer can appreciate because some vendors try to up-sell everything they can). The pipe & drape, upshot lighting, tables, cake table, custom bar, a kids table, custom kids seating, follow spotlights, flood lights, DJ front board, exciting dance party effect lighting, specialty lighted backdrop, specialty acrylic chairs and fixtures were the talk of everyone who attended our reception!

I would highly recommend Paul for anyone who is looking for party rental services, wedding services, or any other event services. Start your search with him, not one of the commercialized "big companies"...you won't get near the same customer service that Paul will offer you.

Side note: I also really enjoyed Paul's personality. He's a say-it-like-it-is kind of person, which is very endearing when it comes to planning an important event. The recommendations and advice he offered my wife and I were spot-on. He took the time to answer her questions, keep her excited about our reception and even captured footage so we could look back on the best night of our lives!

Let me start by saying thank you to call in his staff for executing our vision of an all white lounge we transformed Blush in daytona beach into the 40/40 lounge of the year . paul and his crew were very professional from beginning to end .
