I have been going here many times and I have always received the best service you can possibly get they make you feel a very special customer . Food is made with care and attention to detail and tastes just as good as it looks. Place is very clean and has a very good atmosphere. I’m not an easy person to please specially when it comes to service attitude but this place ticks all the boxes. Look at the picture of what I had for breakfast this morning, everything I love was on that plate. 😋🤤 👍👍👍👍👍

I just had the greatest oat milk flat white of my life. And it was at One Penny Black. With the exceptional quality of the coffee, friendly staff and cozy, rustic vibe with a modern touch that a cafe should have, I cannot recommend this place any more.

Really nice special of salmon with a curry sauce. Really fresh, delicious and inviting. Not the fastest but when they're making fresh food I don't mind waiting for something worthwhile. Friendly staff and nice service. Accomodating of my celiac friend.

Came here for a coffee on the run and stayed for a full-on breakfast! So glad we did...the food was delicious, the service fast and the amenities rustic but perfectly clean. So often these "hole-in-the-wall" cafes confuse "rustic" with "old and filthy". The staff were extremely pleasant - even to the point of serving us an extra fritter that I mistakenly thought was missed from our order. The fault was entirely mine and I apologise. The kind gesture ensured we will be back! Price for an extremely hearty breakfast and two coffees (also perfect) was reasonable. Well done, One Penny!
