And older style motel this place is unpretentious and obviously long in the tooth.||But it is cheap, located centrally (as in central Quenbeyan) and as it's not expensive if you are wanting to visit Canberra and have your own transport you may be well advised to at least consider staying in this or one of the other cheaper motels nearby. It's literally 15 minutes or so to get into Canberra.||Speaking of nearby the motel is just a stroll from a supermarket, small shopping centre and several eateries.||Service was fine and the place was clean and everything worked. The bed was comfortable and there was adequate parking. As I said it's obviously an older establishment but if you are just looking for a place to sty in the area this is a good option.

Stayed here many times. Found the staff very friendly and rooms spotless. (Ok they are older, eg carpet, cupboards but kept very clean and that is part of the charm)
Over the road from woolies, aldi and a good laundromat and bus stop to Canberra is 50 m away.
Great value for money - Would definitely stay again!

Very much a budget motel. Rooms are generally clean with new comfortable beds, clean linen and bathroom. Room styles vary and, in some rooms, fixtures and fittings date back to the 50's.
The area is generally quiet at night and well away from main road. Parking on site. Good security.
Aldi, Woolworths, Kmart, Dan Murphy's very close as are a variety of food outlets. Easy walk to the center of town.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Book direct for the best deals with prices starting at $110 per night (2023) discounts for longer stays. Avoid booking services who charge much more.

We were spending one night there on our way. |Manager was so nice although not too good English. Clean rooms, very comfortable bed, the room was well equipped with microwave, toaster, kettle, flat tv and cutlery. Reasonable price, supermarket just across the street. We have used the BBQ on the 2nd floor with nice place nearby to sit and eat. Very comfortable. Recommend (!)

Myself and partner spent 2 nights here. The bed was very comfy. The price is very good. Lovely service from the managers. The motel is older style and could maybe do with some refreshing. The shower is step in the bath type so may be difficult for people with mobility issues. Close to all amenities in town.

Found this motel to have small but very clean rooms and the most delightful and friendly Asian staff and managers. The price was right but the motel itself is tired and very outdated. The manager gave us a lovely quiet room in the corner or the building, and there was no noise but the carpet was not laid properly and was loose and wrinkled in the corner of the bed, presenting my frail aged partner with a real slip, trip and fall hazard. Access to the room was difficult because of high steps and the parking around the back near the room was via a very tight and narrow driveway and I couldn't open either door of the car. All in all, not an unpleasant experience but not sure I would stay there again.
