What a delightful old house opposite the beautiful silo art in Kimba. The art is lit up at night - beautiful.
Very quiet spot, in a lovely setting. Kitchen was well set up and spacious, with a large square table & chairs in the centre. Full size fridge, stove top & oven, microwave & full size dish washer . Comfy lounge and TV.
Bedrooms were very nice. The small room created by not using the front door has a desk & chair plus a comfy arm chair. The desk having power points close by. was great as a charging area for our phones, computers etc. Bathroom very spacious. The toilet is separate and in the laundry. We did a load of washing on arrival. Washing line & pegs provided. Lots of other items provided. A very pleasant place to stay. Easy walk to the shops and a great hotel around the corner. Loved Kimba. it was our first visit, even though we lived in Port Pirie for over 25 years.

We stayed in Olive House on Railway Terrace a month ago. What a great location! Central, easy to find as we drove into town and boasts a 'front row' view of the Silo art.
The self check in facility was excellent. The house is spacious, clean, attractive, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Plenty of off street parking space and even a lemon tree 🙂
We didn't met Hannah but she was delightful when we booked by phone and emailed our confirmation immediately.
I would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Kimba. It is only a 5 minute walk from the Museum which is well worth a visit too.

We stayed in the olive house for our wedding earlier this year and wow what a house! It was stunning for our photos and such a beautiful house to get ready in. Han was so easy to get a hold of and super helpful with any questions I had for her. If you are planning on staying in Kimba for a few nights I’d definitely recommend the olive house
