Nice big free camp ground with lots of fire pits available. Drop toilet with a tap to wash hands, but not drinkable and it was so cold it froze over. It's close to a stream where you can get water if needed. Not a lot of flat ground for tent camping and more suitable for car camping. Does get very cold as it's down in the valley, our tent froze overnight.

Great free camping spot! Easy access—no off-roading needed, and your vehicle will have no trouble getting there. It’s a quiet, low-traffic area with plenty of fire pits available. You’ll get a faint mobile signal (depending on your provider), so you’re not completely off the grid. On clear nights, it’s perfect for stargazing!

Our family had such a wonderful time camping. The place is beaming in beauty and I'm glad there was not a crowd when we stayed. There are firepits scattered around (BYO firewood), drop toilets (well maintained) and waste bins. The river runs beside the campgrounds and is amazing to listen to as you sleep 😴 The stars are on full display scattered throughout the sky, just amazing. Will definitely return to swim in the river during the warmer periods.

Really good and quite place. It is very near from katoomba and really great drive though road is full of potholes. The reserve is near a creek so you can sleep with sound of flowing river giving chef touch to camping. It has got fire pit, toilet, bench and table making it perfect camping spot even for motorcycle rider.

This place honestly feels a bit like a tip. So far from what I thought it was going to be from the reviews and pictures I saw. It's Right on the road, it's super small and also had a few old caravans that looked like they had been there for years.
Hopefully this review saves someone a lot of time going out there
