Whenever I've taken part in activities during this year, I've enjoyed the social interaction with both the volunteers and the visitors who come to Okines. No one expects anyone to perform. You're made to feel free to join in or to sit back and observe. During the approx 3 hours, there is always a constant sound of people chatting, enjoying a cuppa, taking part in various crafts, or just wandering around the garden. Wherever you look, people are smiling
We are all invited to join in sharing a light lunch, and then it is farewell til we meet again.
Like others, I am looking forward to next year. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to everyone.

What a great community and community centre we have in dodges ferry. The people who volunteer their time are just so awesome,so friendly and willing to help you.This place and the people in it are the best humans ive ever come across in my 50 years . not to forget to mention what they're doing for our community and the people in it. I could go on but i think you get the idea. The vegetable patch is just booming this year too i must say.

The whole place is mix of recycled materials and a heap of different facilities covering a wide range of activities. I was quite taken by the outdoor areas including a bicycle workshop, pizza oven and even a labyrinth.
I didn't get to have a look inside the centre this time as it was a Sunday.

Just Brilliant ! How wonderful for the community of Dodges Ferry to have such an amazing Community Centre and Community Garden there to support and include everyone !( esp. loved the hens and the resident rabbit)☮

Absolutely love this community centre, the community garden was fantastic, the bike shed is a brilliant idea, next time I'm down that way I'll be calling in to see everyone again

This is an amazing hive of activity. So impressive with everyone's gardens and the chooks, bee hive, outdoor pizza oven, outdoor kitchen, composting loo, the community involvement. Congratulations Dodges Ferry.
