Recommendation to customers for Phillip Island: bring warm clothing and go for the Penguin Plus viewing.

We booked a day tour to Phillip Island through Oceania 24 and it was incredible! Alda and Elliot were our guides. Alda is so knowledgeable - she really made the drive fun and interesting. Elliot is funny, kind, and a great driver.

The tour itself was amazing. We started at Moonlit Sanctuary, where we had about an hour to see the sights. I recommend booking any extra experiences at the Sanctuary a few days in advance (like the koala, dingo, and wombat encounters). If you want to spend more time there, another couple on our tour arranged their own transport to the Sanctuary, arrived earlier than we did, then joined us for the rest of the tour.

We had a few pit stops for photo opportunities on the way. There are some incredibly beautiful beaches to see, including the stop at the Nobbies. Dinner is patron's choice in Cowes. We had about 1.5 hours for dinner, so you may want to figure it out and potentially make reservations in advance so you also have time to shop.

The Penguin Parade is such an incredible experience. The guide there asked the audience how many of us had been to it before and about half of the crowd raised their hands. I was a bit befuddled at this, but now I totally get it. Watching the parade is a truly magical experience. Do yourself the favor and get the Penguin Plus viewing package. The facility at the parade location sells warm clothing and blankets - if you forget your own, I'd buy them there to support the preserve.

Excellent all day Great Ocean Road Tour.... fabulous scenery made even better by super Sarah who was so informative and entertaining, not to mention managing the group perfectly
