Thhe apartment was very spacious, bigger than places we have stayed at before. It was clean and had all the modern appliances to make it very comfortable. Perfect location to shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely going back again!

Nice and clean spacious apartments with heaps of amenities. The parking spots are pretty big too. The spa and indoor pool were warm enough. There’s a sauna as well. It’s few minutes drive from Sea world and walking distance from the market.

So disappointed with our stay. There was construction noise the whole week! The drilling was constant and so loud that our windows were actually shaking. I was amazed that we were not offered any compensation when requested for it. We were told with a shrug of the shoulders that "it is, what it is". I'm disgusted with Ocean Sands. How they think they can charge $200 a night with incredibly loud construction noise is beyond me. Not to mention their apartments are incredibly outdated with stained carpet and starchy bed sheets. The indoor pool looks like an infection waiting to happen, and the outside pool area is much smaller than the pictures...not that we could use any of the facilities due to the building work. Surely management knew that no guests would be happy staying at the hotel during renovations and should have told bookings in advance of the disruptions. If this was the case I would have stayed elsewhere and not have my whole trip to the Gold Coast ruined. Do not stay here! They don't care about their guests, not to mention it is extremely overpriced.

We stayed at Ocean Sands Resort Main Beach for 5 nights on arrival the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The 2 bedroom standard room we stayed in was very clean very well maintained and our girls loved the view from the 8th floor we had ocean views and also river views but our girls found the most exciting was they could see the helicopters landing and leaving seaworld. The pools were wonderful nice and clean and the indoor pool is fantastic as there is no need to go outside to get to it. I would recommend ocean sands to everyone.

We stayed in a very nicely presented 3 bedroom apartment with beautiful water views. It was comfortable and clean. We also accessed the secure parking, as part of our package. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.|It is very close to the beach and the Main Street, where you can find coffee, a small (expensive but convenient) supermarket, chemist and dining options.|We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.

This was a repeat stay for us, we also stayed at Ocean Sands last year, we love the location. Just stayed 12 nights in a huge two bedroom deluxe apartment, fantastic views from the balcony and every room of The Spit, Seaworld and Southport. Nice and quiet away from the hustle down at Gold Coast yet close enough to all main entertainment Parks and shopping centres to visit either by car or bus/light rail. Tedder Avenue is right on the doorstep with many restaurants and the Surf Club a short walk away right on the ocean beach. We just love the location and the two bedroom deluxe accommodation was excellent, we had family living in Queensland visit and stay a few nights. There is everything you need, well equipped kitchen, two large bathrooms, main bedroom is huge and lovely furnishings in this apartment and more importantly a comfortable bed. The apartment block is very well maintained and surrounding area and pools clean. Only bad part was our holiday ended !!

To be honest we haven't stayed here for about 4-5 years , but we have stayed here 3 or 4 times prior to that. we loved these apartments , huge , spacious , sensational views , right on Tedder ave and close to everything , 2 pool areas , was always spotless , Perfect location as a base for your GC holiday I'm sorry we haven't been back there , kids have grown up is the main reason and lately we've stayed down at Cooly . But if you are looking for accomodation in this end of town - look no further than Ocean Sands resort , Thoroughly recommended.

We are a family of 7 (5 kids) and the look on their faces when we first opened the door said it all. Very thrilled! Really spacious, clean and modern. We were very happy with the suite - 3 good bedrooms and a kitchen, living area, laundry room and 2 bathrooms.||The indoor swimming pool was wonderful - lovely warm spa pool and sauna. It seemed that most of the other people there either lived in the resort permanently or used it as a holiday home. This means that there was no loud partying or anything like that. Saw a few others with young families but not that many. The pool was never crowded and mostly we had it to ourselves.||These are serviced apartments so you don't get 24/7 help from reception - but there's a very helpful lady at the service desk during normal working hours. ||Niggles are that we arrived on a Saturday night and the bed configuration wasn't right (we were missing a bed) so that couldn't be rectified until the next day. There was a number for emergencies, but we felt that didn't count as an emergency. But that was sorted out the next day without too much hassle. Also, I know it's a first world problem but paying high prices for limited wifi is not something most people will do. ||The positives far outweigh the negatives though. The location was perfect for us. The nearby Tedder Street has really good cafes and restaurants and is a really nice area, more suited to older people. When we went out to Surfers Paradise we saw more of the nightlife and partying that the area is famous for. We felt lucky that we had found a well-maintained resort in a quiet area that was still central enough to access everywhere. ||I would be happy to recommend Ocean Sands Resort if you are looking for a friendly, quiet and relaxing place.
