Our family stay was very pleasant, we had 2 rooms one with beds for 4 adults and a double room. Both very comfortable and clean. It was lovely sitting outside the room relaxing while some when for a swim in the pool. We were also able to make a simple breakfast with kettle and toaster available (Christmas Day, not much open). Also very friendly staff. We were able to walk across the road to the Hoey Moey and had an enjoyable meal with a couple of cool drinks. The beach is also just behind the pub.

This place is so nice and clean to stay at. My daughter and I have now stayed here twice. The couple that own the place are so accommodating and so very friendly. They made myself and daughter (16 months old) feel very welcomed. The bed was super comfy and we had great night sleeps. Will definitely be staying here every time we are in Coffs Harbour

This was a great spot for us. It had all the amenities we needed to relax for a week. The apt had a hotplate and dishes along with a small fridge. It also had a separate bedroom and small balcony overlooking the pool. Weather was awesome and we used the pool often. It was a great temp and super clean. There was a pub we ate at a few times right across the street that had daily specials and coffee just around the corner for the mornings.This is an older complex but is spotless and the owners are lovely.

Not only was the accommodation clean and exactly what we needed for the two days were there, but it is well located to everything nearby, restaurants and the beach. The owners were amazing to say the least. They were very patient, accommodating. ||We had our wet swim clothes hung outside on chairs in the sun and we came home one afternoon to see that they had hung up our clothes on a portable air dryer. ||Glad we found the place. ||We would stay there again.

A last minute decision led me here. A very warm welcome and inspection of the unit available, it was easy to stay! Plenty of room, with a bedroom, separate bathroom, kitchenette and dining / lounge. Comfortable bed, good strong water pressure, very clean throughout. Close to the beach, a good pub and not too far from a laundromat. Only wish it had been warmer so that I could use the very enticing, sparkling pool!

I’m giving this property 5 stars for the following reasons.

1. Location
It’s location is excellent. It’s right opposite a family hotel called the Hoey Moey where you can get great meals. Last night was $12 schnitty night and the night before was 2 for one cocktails. It’s literally 50meters from the beach and at the other end of the street less than 1km away is the main shopping Centre Woolworths, Aldi, Maccas and KFC etc.

2. Friendliness
The owners of this hotel are Argentinians and they really are lovely people who are willing to help. Nothing is too much trouble which is nice.

3. Cleanliness
My room is very clean and well prepared.

Even though it’s an older property it still presents very well. Yes the alarm clock is probable well past its use by date, but seriously who uses them anymore anyway?

Parking is easy and right out front your door.

As you see from the photos, the pool area is well kept and again very neat, tidy and clean.

I paid $140 for my visit which was acceptable. It’s a large room with everything in it. Based on other places I have stayed here my room probably was more in the $120 price range. But because of the effort care and attention they offer I am happy to pay the extra.

Overall this is a good family holiday destination. It has everything needed for a great time away and it won’t break the bank.

We had not booked ahead and there were lots of sporting events last weekend! We ended up at Ocean Paradise. Paradise it was not! We wanted a room for 3 so had little choice. It was understandable why they had rooms left when most were full||The room was in need of a major upgrade. Old furniture and fittings, ||It was clean enough and reception was fine.||Later we checked the price on line to find we were charged a significant premium!||Not recommended

Very clean with friendly staff. But the walls seemed super thin. We could hear the people staying next to us have a shower. And all we could hear from the rooms above was intense stomping. Not awesome when travelling with an infant. Pretty pricey for what we had to put up with.
