The staff are a well oiled machine. They are attentive and thoughtful, funny, friendly, and caring.

The various tours included with the package including a glass bottom boat tour, guided snorkelling areas, certain starfish and sea cucumbers were safely and gently retrieved during the tour for us to see and touch.

This was a once in a lifetime moment and they nailed it.

11/10 easily.

It was a great experience to be on board of Ocean Freedom to explore the hidden treasures of the Great Reef and to complete my first ever diving session! From the very starting point of the booking procedure through boarding and finally introducing the Great Reef, everything was simply perfect. Great crew - special thanks to Sara and Pascal, you made my day, really. Wonderful buffet lunch and snacks throughout the whole adventure. Lovely snorkeling /diving spots - silent and secluded where one can feel the ocean at its best. Amazing experience overall : family like journey - everyone was taken care of with smile and full attention. Highly recommended ?

Overall, a really great experience.

We booked the Ocean Freedom for snorkeling but there were people who were also scuba diving.

The boat, if I remember correctly, had a max capacity of roughly 150. Our day was about half full with 65 people.

The whole process seemed very organized. It ran on-time, they provided wet suits, snorkel gear and everything you could imagine.

They provided safety tips and rules to make everyone feel comfortable. There was never a time where I thought “what am I supposed to be doing right now?”

The staff is incredible and they make the whole trip. There to help and guide you but also protect you. I don’t love being in the open ocean but I never felt concerned with the crew.

This doesn’t even reflect on the reef itself with is incredible and home to many types of sea life. We saw a sea turtle which was the highlight of the trip.

We had an amazing day on Ocean Free yesterday. The staff were outstanding, making sure everyone was taken care of, especially non strong swimmers when snorkelling. This was a once of a lifetime experience for our family (2 adults 50+ and 2 teens). A good balance of snorkelling, Green Island, and sailing. Highly recommend for those looking for a more personal trip to the reef.

A must book! So happy i booked this all day adventure. I had never dove or scuba before and couldn’t have been happier doing both my first time with this crew. The beginner dive was absolutely incredible and easy. The guide talked me through my anxiety and did most of the work, all you have to do is calmly breath and pop your ears whenever you feel pressure and they do the rest! The boat was nice, staff incredible and friendly and obviously can’t beat the reef. We had A+ conditions so that helps but all and all amazing, amazing. Highly recommend.

We went out on the Ocean Free today and had the absolute best time! We can’t say enough wonderful things about the experience and the crew! The private snorkeling/diving spot off of Green Island allowed us to see fish, sharks, turtles and corals. It was amazing! We had a great time getting to know the others on the boat and would recommend this experience to everyone!

Ocean free provided a wonderful snorkel and first dive experience - our dive instructor Molly was extremely patient and calming as we got underwater and made sure we saw lots of interesting reef life while down. The food was decent and definitely more than enough to satiate after swimming. Even though we went on a low wind day they still cut the engine and hoisted the sail for a bit to get that lovely connection with the wind and the waves. All of the team are knowledgeable and friendly, couldn’t have spent a better day in Cairns!

I have no words to express an unforgettable day.
For me this was my second time snorkeling it was just overwhelming. It is hard to describe how it feels to see what is happening under water – it is like entering and exploring an unknown world. I enjoyed watching all the different fish, the colours, reefs and the whole marine life I got lucky to see a big turtle and a enormous stingray . I highly recommend this tour and his crew was exceptional, friendly , attentive. they made this experience even more enjoyable.
