A great casual bustley ambience that is stylish with comfortable outdoor seating options. A good selection of cuisines that cater to some dietary needs. Meals were well presented with great flavours. Future consideration - more seasonal greens to be served with the fish (scarce on plate).

We had the Teriyaki Salmon. To our surprise the Salmon is well flavour and savoury. Normally in Japanese restaurants they will serve it with rice. But here in Oatley hotel lunch special, the chef decided to serve it with some fruits/vegetables salad. Very refreshing and well-balanced flavour. Good work chef. It sure has achieved " Umami" effect in Japanese word

This place is quite nice. Everyone seems to be relaxed from the times I’ve visited.

I haven’t ordered food from here but the bistro area is always busy.

Drinks are fast to come after ordering

If I could give it minus five stars I would.
Ordered a Scotch Fillet, medium rare.
Came out and looked like a tin of mashed Pal dog food mixed with boot leather.
They did offer a replacement.But would not give my money back.
Will not not go back, nor would I recommend eating there.

Enjoyed a great lunch here today, country style pub with excellent service from all staff, food and beer were sensational, multiple areas to sit back and relax, will definitely be back

Bad food, poor service.

Dined in for lunch. Ordered $100 of meals. First, the wrong food was brought to us, then one of our meals was missing the sauce it was advertised with. I rectified the issue myself, no worries. Then, upon cutting open a "medium rare" steak, it was completely grey and dry as cardboard.

But, not as dry as the care factor of the older man at the bistro, who offered no apologies about this. Waited another 25 minutes for a "medium rare" steak, by which time my family had finished their food. Again, little care factor or apology and when I asked if there was anything they could do, his reply "I couldn't just put it in the microwave" with a shrug and left. (Should probably retire at this point...)

The steak again, was well done, but by this point, I just wanted to eat and leave. Definitely wouldn't spend another cent here.

Lovely little pub with an amazing rabbit warren of rooms and stairs and outside areas with more stairs and under cover areas...food was pretty dang good too. The only downside was the fact that the resident smokers could not read the "NO Smoking" signs, and the keep away from this area signs....most unpleasant having second hand smoke whilst trying to eat. Aside from this, staff were friendly and helpful.

Have to say I wasn't looking forward to eating lunch at a pub as usually they are overrated and overpriced.
But I was really pleasantly surprised to find a simple menu with average prices and excellent food!....
I had the Octopus and although I could of done without the sweet chilli sauce (sure it said ginger n something 🙄) it was cooked to perfection and a decent size.
The garlic pizza was to die for and the other dishes looked great.
Chips erred tasty and I tried the fried fish which is usually hideous and it was excellent 👌
Definitely go back again with my folks who live nearby.
Great inside too but the outside is excellent for summer!!!
