It was really fun to pet a koala and feed animals like kangaroos up close.
I also had the experience of feeding goats with milk and milking cows.

One of the great advantages was being able to see the animals up close. Some of them roam freely around the zoo without enclosures.

The staff were also very friendly. It's definitely a place I’d love to visit again.

There’s a range of separate enclosures for animals here and you can also get up and close encounters with some animals for extra cost. That said, it is included to feed the goats and milk the cows. The staff are great in explaining and showing you what to do. There’s also 2 parks and water splash area. Plenty of picnic tables, a cafe and merchandise store. It’s. Great day out.

Plenty of parking, service was great and friendly. The kids loved the water play park. The second play area feels a little dated. There are two toilet blocks inside.
Plenty of undercover tables and you can buy hot food, there are also electric BBQs if you want to take food to cook.
The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks and kangaroos.
Entry is fairly expensive.

We arrived around 10am and spent about 4hrs there. After getting your tickets, check the schedule for the activities or you can just choose to explore the area at your own pace. The place was very spacious, clean and have opportunity to pet some baby goat, lambs, rabbit etc.
Can prepare some sandwiches and snacks to eat there.
Suitable for all ages

This place was described to me as a petting zoo.... It is so much more. A family could spend all day here and still feel like they hadn't seen it all.

Be prepared to spend a bit of money however as it is expensive to get in and book any of the animal encounters. I would also suggest packing your own lunch. And if you have kids under 10 an extra pair of clothes/swimmers because the splash zone is a highlight with the little onew.

Great park. Great range of animals. Plenty of opportunities for the kids to explore and enjoy feeding the animals. They obviously have great pride in their park. It was so clean and well maintained.

Had a wonderful 3-4 hours and saw some amazing, beautiful animals in a properly spacious environment. It’s definitely a wildlife park and not a zoo. It’s even comparable to Australia Zoo!! Nice food, coffee etc too as well as a decent gift shop. A must visit if you’re around Newcastle!

We absolutely adored this place!
Super easy to get to and plenty of parking. The park itself is well looked after and has plenty of different animals to see and feed. It was really nice to have the experience of feeding larger animals and getting up close to them. They are all very well looked after and have spacious enclosures. We really enjoyed the croc talk and feed time, super interesting to see them in action and learn about different animals.
I would absolutely go back again!
