Arrived slightly earlier than expected and was greeted with a warm smile once entering the reception area. I had not requested an early check in when booking however it was accommodated and I was able to get to my room and relax after a long drive.

The room itself is well appointed and very clean. My wife, kids and I were comfortable as soon as entering. Great view of the ocean and pool area.

Hotel is easy to navigate and plenty of signage around to help do so. Undercover car park was also great because of the wet weather we have been having.

Would highly recommend oaks hervey bay for anyone looking for a nice and comfortable stay.

Will definitely be staying again next time I'm down this way.

Stayed in the one bedroom unit and have to say it was an amazing room. Clean, hard bed, but weirdly had a great night’s sleep. Reception staff were really helpful and friendly. We checked I. Late, and received a beautifully friendly phone call with instructions on how to check in, etc., which was really nice. My recommendation to hotels is to offer thick soft mattress toppers for people who prefer softer beds. An absolutely stunning room and hotel. Would highly recommend.

Left our booking for Hervey Bay too late so decided to book The Oaks at the last minute. Aside from a great rate (as member), our pool view room was more than we expected. It was large, clean and on the ground level an added bonus. Good restaurants near by and close to the Pier. Bed was super comfortable for us (medium soft rather than firm). It’s a large complex so expect some noise from rowdy groups, luckily no issues for us. Would definitely stay again.

We recently stayed at the Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa. The location is fantastic with great views, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice overall, but I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness, which wasn’t quite up to five-star standards. Also, only the main living area had a small air conditioner, which was fine for September, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here during the hotter months. Overall, a pleasant stay, but there’s room for improvement.

I only stayed for one night, but was happy with all the amenities I used. The view from upper floor apartments is fabulous. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The pool is generous and well set up and the staff are super friendly. Salt Cafe does a good breakfast.

Have stayed in other Oaks resorts which were much better than this one. Beds pretty basic - not at all luxurious. No aircon in bedroom. Was too hot to sleep well. Spa bath which doubles as shower was very high to get in and out of. Hard to contain water to shower/bath so floor ended up very wet. Wouldn’t stay again.

Nice sized room on first floor overlooking pool. Well equipped functional kitchen. Great location on waterfront with Urangan Pier a short walk away.
Only downside was not enough sun loungers during busy periods.

Excellent apartment, 1st floor, well equipped, large bedroom and kitchen plus balcony. Too far to walk from town you will need a car.Large pool and lazy river pool great for kids as it is not too deep, however noisy if you are sitting in your balcony. Ideal for families and children. Places to gather on grass by pool
