Value for money! Spacious room, comfortable bed (although I didn't love the pillows) and very clean. We were surprised when told there was a complimentary continental breakfast available next morning, added bonus! Very friendly staff. Will definitely be staying with Nightcap again.

Stayed here for an event in Sydney and it was almost perfect, good value, rooms spacious and very well presented, and a buffet breakfast (on weekends) included was a fabulous bonus. Will definitely look to stay here again on next visit to Sydney.

I recently stayed at the Nightcap for a conference. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were the highlight - every person we met was friendly and helpful. I particularly loved the fact that the shampoo/conditioner/body wash was vegan and cruelty free, and smelled delicious.

To be fair this was a corporate trip and it's not exactly a corporate hotel. Arrived 9pm Sunday night, reception unmanned and doors locked. Had to trapse over to the pub to rouse someone to go back and let me in. No food available, and no breakfast on weekdays other than a mini cereal kit in your room. Raucous party 2 doors down with people yelling and laughing madly til nearly 1am. Not sure who this place is catering to but it ain't me! Room was clean and comfy at least, but the king bed is just two singles pushed together.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. The staff are lovely, especially the woman on reception (sorry didn’t grab your name!), my daughter looked forward to greeting her everyday we were there. The bistro was great and well priced as well. The coffee in the morning was fabulous and kept me feeling alive and human. Any complaints we did have(which was ever only minor) were acted upon promptly and made to feel like we were cared for and not just another hotel guest. The perfect addition was the arcade in the dining area which kept our 1 year old super entertained and happy. We will stay here again when we return back to Sydney!

Boy I wish I read that last review before booking! First of all, the hotel is clean, staff friendly, food is fine.... but damn! The noise at night! It's 8:00pm and some woman is screaming her head off into her phone outside my bedroom window. Last night at 1:30 it was partiers leaving the pub. Cars doing burnouts with stereos blasting, this place doesn't even feel safe at night, let alone restful. Also, a king bed is not two singles pushed together, got trapped in that valley between beds. I'd rather have a real queen or even a double than a fake king bed. No love for this place tonight.

It was better than expected. We stayed in the King Studio which was very nice and spacious. It had a comfortable lounge, large screen tv and fairly quiet air conditioner. Accommodation is next to the hotel where the restaurant is but there was no noise from the club or from patrons leaving late at night so we got a great night's sleep. The bistro was also a big plus, lots of room and plenty to choose from on the menu. If we have to stay in Macquarie Park again we'll definitely come back to the Ranch Hotel.

Location was good. Close to bus station and close walk to train station. When checking in, the first staff member didn’t really speak went and got someone to else and it was like it was an inconvenience for us checking in. Staff told us breakfast runs from 7-9 usually but running till 10 because of Taylor Swift concert. Had breakfast first day, was good and second day went down at 7:15 and door was locked and no staff anywhere, packed car and came back same story door locked no staff anywhere. We were wanting to get on the road to get home to qld. So we just left and got food on the way. We ate the bistro three times, two dinner and one lunch and food was quick to get out and was delicious.
