We just had our son’s first birthday at Nicotras and I can’t say enough great things! The service there is like no other. They are so accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure your event is perfect; from the planning, to the set up, to the event, and even after. They pay attention to small details, which is rare to find from a catering hall. From creating a gourmet signature drink, to going over my seating chart to make sure it matched my tables, to even finding an outlet to plug in a sign that I had that wasn’t near one. They also helped me break down my event at the end of the night. Not only did they cater to my every request, they went above that to make sure it was perfect. Besides the beautiful venue and amazing customer service their food was hot, fresh and amazing! The buffet included so many great options and they replenished everything for hours for my guests to enjoy. This was not our first event that we hosted here but the service always impresses us! Thank you to the great team at Nicotra’s, especially to Alessandra for all of her help!

I’ve attended several events at Nicotras at the HGI, mostly related to my young daughter’s school events.

The venue is flawless, well-maintained and kept, the food is excellent, the service is always great. Overall, you wouldn’t expect this high quality venue to be inside of a Hilton Garden Inn; it’s more on par with a Conrad or a fully-flagged Hilton property. Their rooftop venue is special and always great for a nice view and breath of fresh air. Overall, a flawless gem in Staten Island.

More than ample parking, easy accessibility to EWR and the Expressway and NJ routes.

The service was impeccable, and the food was decent. The environment and occasion were well put together. The building and rooms were adequate. I'd say the average ballrooms with an average size dance floor that can accommodate 20 dancers comfortably and a stage for the band .

My husband and I were married at Nicotra’s on 10/20/23 at the Trevi Garden. Our event planner Alessandra, bridal attendant Jackie and maitre d’ Tom provided us with excellent service personally. Jackie was fantastic, she was by my side at all times and helped me throughout the day, I am very thankful for her! She was the best. However, we were very disappointed with the feedback we received from our family and guests. There was a lack of direction for our arriving guests, no one knew where to go and people were just wandering all over the place. Several guests also noted that the food quality and service during the reception were inconsistent. Some waiters offered steak to be cooked only rare or medium while other tables were only offered medium or well done. Unfortunately many of our guests found the steak to be excessively tough and difficult to cut. There were also notable delays in serving the meals, which left a less-than-ideal impression on our guests.
On top of that, after Jon’s Aunt stated her steak was tough, the waiter offered the table steak knives instead of a new steak. She also said he was very rude to her. Another guest of mine had to tip their table waiter in order to get some service, he wanted coffee at the end of the night. I thought coffee and tea was supposed to be offered to our guests anyway, so why did a tip needed to be given for that to be received?

All in all, the staff was not attentive to our guests. Very disappointed and embarrassed to hear this from our loved ones.

Our function was at the Trevi garden and everything was beautifully arranged, giving the impression of a garden wedding. The meals were very palatable and three choices were provided - chicken martini, short ribs and encrusted fish of some sort. The short ribs were excellent. There was also a salad and a pasta course. Would recommend this facility for any type of celebration. There is also a very pretty tea house garden for smaller functions.

We had our sons first birthday here and everything was amazing from start to finish. They were extremely accommodating and helpful from the day we booked. Before the event, emails were always answered promptly, and they went the extra mile to accommodate me with all my requests. During the event, they made sure everything was perfect, which it was. The food selection was amazing and high quality. Alessandra and Matt were truly the biggest help and made my sons party perfect! We will absolutely be hosting more events there as we were so impressed with how we were treated along with the quality of the food and the beautiful grounds. Thank you again!

I had such a wonderful time here for my sisters wedding. The room was absolutely beautiful. I was floored that this kind of place actually existed in Staten island. The service was impeccable, the staff were friendly and generous. The food was probably the best part, every bite was more flavorful than the last. We all had such a fantastic time
