I’ve been a member of this gym for a while and overall, it’s a good facility with decent equipment and a clean environment. However, I recently had an unpleasant experience with a staff member who was quite rude to me. Unfortunately, this made me feel uncomfortable enough to cancel my membership.

It’s disappointing because this used to be my favorite gym, but customer service plays a big role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. I hope they address this issue and continue to improve, as it has the potential to be a great place for fitness enthusiasts.

Fantastic gym!! Awesome staff, brilliant wellness centre, bar, cafe food all great too. A lot of high quality cable machines, treadmills, good free weights area too.

Yoga and Body Balance classes are always popular with awesome instructors. I haven't tried the spin classes yet, but keen too... 💪

It's got to be one of the cleanest gyms in Canberra too.

Great gym and facilities. I have been a member there for a few years and would normally recommend this gym to everyone, until today, I had an awful encounter with a PT.
I was aggressively kicked off a treadmill in the main part of the gym (not the in the area they were doing the class) by the PT running the class. There were no reserve signs or indication the class were using it. The PT occupied 10 of all 11 treadmills available (4 were out of order). I asked him if he could be a bit flexible given the amount he was taking combined with the amount broken. He said no and that the members in the class were more important than me (despite being a "Gold" member and paying a huge premium for that "privilege"). He then proceeded to say how "pissed off" he was that the equipment was broken. I couldn't actually believe what was happening.

I am not sure the excessive premium is worth the money and after today I can't believe I pay $97 a fortnight for that service.

I have been a member of Next Gen for over two years now. I love the facilities and the staff. The sauna and steam room are a great way to relax after a workout.

There are some very busy times where it is difficult to use the machines that you want to.

Overall I highly recommend Next Gen Canberra.

This is a well kept gym, I've been coming to this one for past 2 years.

Each time I've been the gym is spotless, weights are all stacked correctly. Lot of equipments to choose from.
The gym is never crowded. And as a squash lover they have squash court plus a swimming pool.

The overall layout of the gym is good, and the condition of the equipment is well maintained.

The staff are very friendly I would highly recommend this gym to my friends.

Love this place. It has modern equipment, group classes and an indoor heated pool. I have made some good friends that makes it a social place as well. Staff are always friendly and eager to assist with any Issue I may have. The centre offers tennis, squash, childcare and parking. There is enough on offer to make this your new home away from home or just a gym, whatever suits you.
