I visited the information centre at Newcastle and I got a stamp in my passport. I had a look around the information Centre and they had a lot of good information about Newcastle. The staff was nice and I got some photos. Thank you to Newcastle information Centre.

New to Newcastle and dropped in to the information centre. Amanda was amazing. So helpful with local knowledge and a lovely disposition. There are also great gifts to purchase in the little shop. This place is a must if you have have limited info of the area.

Went into the visitors centre today for information on the area, while the male answered my basic inquiries any further question were left unanswered when he just walked away (l thought he was coming back). I did try to thank him as l was leaving but got ignored both times l spoke. The customer in the store even waited for him to acknowledge me. Next time l'll probably just google my questions..

Great information and local knowledge from Benjamin.
As new visitors to Newcastle, we needed a guide and we were happy to walk ourselves.

I have dropped into many Visitor Information centres around Australia. All helpful but some stand out. Newcastle is one of the some. Benjamin provided valuable local knowledge based on his own experiences and went out of his way to help us. If you are looking for places to go and sights to see in Newcastle make sure you go to the Visitors Information centre, right next door to the Metro.

Can't be bothered opening on weekends for the influx of tourists that visit our city and can't be bothered changing their hours to say they are shut on weekends on google which literally takes 2 minutes to do. Pathetic.
