We absolutely loved the Big Picture Fest walking tour by Newcastle Afoot! Our tour guide Becky started the first BPF, and her passion for all the artists and their amazing huge murals was just wonderful! We walked in a small group from Newcastle Beach, through Newcastle East and West and got to see a lot of artists in action along the way - painting on the walls of large buildings throughout the city. Loved meeting some of the artists too where they explained the background and meaning of their art. We also admired artworks created at previous BPF’s. Becky explained the history of the festival and also about graffiti, street art and murals - and it was so inspiring to see how beautiful the latest creations are and how they look so good in the city! Thank you Becky! ✨✨✨ 10/10

Had a fantastic day with Becky doing the Newcastle Architecture, Street Art & Hidden Secrets tour today. Becky is so passionate about everything to do with Newcastle and did so much to inspire us with her wealth of knowledge about all things historic , cultural and quirky . I've lived here all my life but now have a new respect for the local Aboriginal language and history. What a wonderful way to get to know Newcastle! Becky was so knowledgable, passionate and engaging. We enjoyed a well paced 2hr tour, exploring some of Newy’s best known heritage buildings and facades, modern architectural marvels and street art.
