This was my third time attending .This was the best venue location by far. The stunning scenery & Fireworks really added to the night. As expected, the bars were busy at peak times, but the staff handled it well, & once the rush subsided, it was easy to grab a drink. We were able to order 3 drinks at a time for friends, making things easier. The variety of drinks on offer was fantastic & the atmosphere was great too.. the dance floor was really pumping!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. We came down from Brisbane and saw this event for NYE in Melbourne and thought wow what good value. We got to the event at around 930pm. What a disaster. Half the venue inside were the lines to the bar. It took 20 minutes to get served. And they encourage binge drinking by saying it's a 3 drink max per person. So of course you get 3 drinks at a time. Canapes were on offer. What canapes!! I saw a server come out twice with a small plate of something but by the time I got to her, they were all gone. The crowd was huge. They didn't cater enough canapes for even one per person. Too many tickets sold for the venue. We couldn't even get onto the balcony. Let alone the toilet, I saw the line was huge. We left after HALF AN HOUR. I've never left an event that soon. At $165 per ticket, and the 3 drinks I had, that equals $55 for a gin and tonic.

The Metropolis venue was absolutely stunning! Watching the sunset over the Yarra and the Melbourne skyline was really nice. The location really set the tone. It was a great venue for a NYE party. We had some cocktail food & lots to drink. We really enjoyed the Expresso Martini’s!! We found the toilets were easily accessible, we used the ones, down the escalators.

Absolutely appalling way of dealing with people. My mate had called to book a ticket last minute on the number listed on the website. The person who answered the call was SO rude, he even hung up on him AND used profanity. I mean its a new years party, is that how you really think you speak to ANYONE especially considering the time of yearb
That said, the rest of us still had to go as we wouldn’t get refunds and let me tell you -there were NO panoramic views of the fireworks, it was absolutely overcrowded and the finger-food was a joke!
This was really upsetting.

Great fun night! at H2o - Couldn’t beat the waterfront location for a NYE party - the outdoor area was the best. The djs had everyone up dancing, so everyone was having a good time. Thanks for all the drinks!!

Had attended this event the last 3 years and absolutely loved it that was till tonight and I will never go again was getting harassed by a person 3 times when I went I have autism and tried to get drinks then a 4th time i tried to go out to the balcony with drinks for other patrons the same person bumps into me and makes my drinks go flying so I try to explain to this person to stop harrassing me so security drags me out by my neck even though I am just telling them calm down I will explain the situation he refuses to and hold me down the escalator for 10 minutes even though I agreed to leave and was just trying to get my situation explained will never ever order an event through h20 ever again

We had an amazing time & stayed right to the end!! There was a mad rush for drinks between 10.30 and 11.45pm but we drank plenty for sure. We enjoyed the music & met so may interesting people! thanks for the enjoyable night.
