Hospitality is awesome, really is a home away from home. Meals are generous size and absolutely delicious home cooking. Rooms are a little dated but clean and have all amenities. AC, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, private bathroom - they even bring your meals to your room! I travel a lot for work and don't always leave reviews however, I have stayed here many times and I always feel relaxed and comfy. It's not the Hilton but it's value for money and can't beat the genuine service!

As the resident cat, I've lounged by the front window of the New Lodge Motel in Katanning, watching the steady flow of guests. Your one-night stay was typical—basic rooms that fit the bill perfectly for weary travelers like yourself. With work crews bustling about, the motel buzzes with activity, offering a simple yet comforting refuge for all who pass through its doors.

Loved our overnight here
Clean rooms , and we had a comfortable nights sleep.
Great staff and friendly. Frogs, a cat and a beautiful dog whom I got lots of cuddles from, and eventually the cat decided it liked me, lol.

Aircon is noisy, barbecue facility is right outside my room just right in my door, suppose to be a “big NO NO”. Other hotel occupants cooking barbi, having beer and talking loud. Wifi password not working, I left a note and requested a correct password but not granted at all, they just ignored it. When I comeback my request note was gone without any response. I assume they just throw it straight to the bin and doesn’t care to my request.

Booked a 1 night stay here on our way to Esperance. Needed a good rest as our day was full on even before getting here.||Only to find a very dated but clean room.||The carpet was vacuumed but stained. We decided to keep our shoes on whilst walking around the room.||The bathroom was clean but dated.Cracked tiles and a shower head that was better suited to a height of 5 foot tall.||The bed linen was as old as I am, and the pillows…well they were like they had been stuffed with old rags that’s how old they were!!!!||||Tourism is about being made feel welcome, a nice place to rest after a long drive.||Myer has sales on every few weeks as does Spotlight, they can even deliver if you can’t make the 3 hour drive to the city.||Surely in the past few decades you were able to buy some new pillows and some modern bed linen!!!||I don’t won’t to here about how thought it’s been the past few years, it hasn’t always been like that!||If you want people to come visit your towns and your in the tourism industry then be good hosts, and have a better attitude. Rather than thanks for your money, bye!!!

Like most small town country hotels the decor was dated but largely well kept. Linen was fresh and clean and room was clean without the old cigarette smell these places sometimes have. Restaurant is functional, the bar is small and not well stocked but its fine for a quick beer. The food was good, basic menu but served quickly. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

The staff I met were very nice. Which makes it hard to criticize the place. The bed sheets and pillow was clean, which is great. A heater was provided which we were grateful for. The hotel overall is so old, outdated, and looks like nothing has been renewed or refreshed for many many years. It’s a changing world. To have continued success, they might have to drag themselves into current day ways. The room is a bit drab, we couldn’t get the air conditioner to work, the taps were hard to turn off, the lamps were stuck to the table and half of them were falling apart and didn’t work. There’s many options in town, and this choice isn’t too bad, all things considered.

Basic Accommodation, rooms could be cleaner and the ac units are dusty and noisy, the carpets are old. The place needs some work, but otherwise a bed to sleep in overnight.
