Fantastic trip out in Geographe bay from Dunsborough today with Naturaliste Charters. I’ve been many times and every time it’s magical. The crew are knowledgeable and friendly and the bay is teeming with whales at the moment, We were lucky enough to see the seasons first Blue whales; a mother and calf. Very special.indeed. A bucket list for most and one that won’t disappoint.

For the first hour was really a tough job hunting for whale, but the team still trying their best sailing out to hunt for the best views for us to see the whale in action.

They are quite professional in hunting the whale and know when to keep the engine silent in order not to disturb the whale.

From the next hour, the whales just appear near our vessel which have a spectacular performance like tail slapping, clapping their fin against the ocean and jumping out of the ocean. It was really enjoy seeing the whales in action and so lucky to witness all these.

The team was also patient to keep the vessel in the ocean for more than 2hours in order for us to witness all the whale performance.

Had a great day out watching whales. Boat is comfy and well set up, but it feels strange shuttling from the Dunsborough shore (not the only tour company). Staff were informative, helpful and friendly.
We saw plenty of whales up close and more distant.
All that said I suspect the competition would be similar (we were all looking at the same whales, after all).

Wonderful experience, finally after whale glimpses in last few weeks, I felt as though I have learnt more about whales and had a much closer experience with photos that I will cherish. Also felt very safe and well cared for by the friendly staff. Thanks

Amazing experience! The staff, Jade and Kyle, were super friendly and happy to answer questions and keep us updated about what's going on. We were lucky to see many whales and some common dolphins playing with the whales! The boat is big and comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and proper, the coffee and tea station is great too! Definitely a must do in the area!
