The National Vietnam Museum is an absolute gem! The exhibits are incredibly detailed and well-presented, giving a real sense of history. A special highlight for us was one of the staff members who went above and beyond, allowing my son to sit inside the Bell 212 helicopter and helping us capture some amazing photos. This personal touch made the visit unforgettable for our family. Highly recommended.

Very good museum and well worth a visit. Very friendly helpful staff and a good cafe as well. Hopefully they get the money to finish off other vehicles waiting to be restored.

Absolutely great effort by locals and those involved in creating and maintaining this dedication to our soldiers, those so often forget soldiers of the Vietnam War. Lots of informative displays stories, explanations. Also some great equipment as well, a few choppers of different types, tank, vehicles, but if course it is the stories that count and there are lots of them, killed in action, missing in action, tracker dog stories, stories of the struggles not only in war but also on coming home, home to a country who didn't seem to appreciate them, who didn't think to thank them or perhaps didn't know how to! Sad, so very very sad.

Out of all of the war museums we've seen, this one stands out for really telling a compelling story and making you emotionally engaged in the plight of the brave men that went to war voluntarily or through conscription. On entry, we were given a brief overview of the museum by a veteran who served in artillery company. The intro movie was brilliantly produced to give you context and set up the rest of the exhibits. They've done an outstanding job presenting everything to make it interesting for all age groups.

A place worth to visit. My little girl didn’t really like the place and felt so sad when she learnt the meaning of “gun” and “war”. I think this is the reason why we should keep the war museums. To show our kids how cruel the war is and why we should avoid it.

My group of 15 people visited the centre on the basis of "it may be interesting". We met Laurie who is a volunteer in the foyer and found that he hosted tours of the museum. He is a Vietnam vet and really brought the many facets of the vietnam story to life for us. The exhibits are extensive and the stories around them intriguing and so real. Worth taking the tour. Everyone in our group were moved. Highly recommend the visit and the tour.

Had Len run us through the museum and got to hear his experiences in the war, too. Wonderful staff that work there, and what an amazing place, got to learn so many stories about individual people. It's just incredible.
