Only motel in the town and was not sure what we would be in for, as we had to pick the keys up at the roadhouse when arriving at Narembeen. Not really a problem as I fuelled up while there. There were 3 brick motel rooms which were well layer out,comfortable and quiet. There 4 more rooms or as someone else called "Dongas" out the back, I guess. Would alright but not sure. No meals or shop close by only back at the roadhouse. Kitchen facilities were good.

Comfortable bed, soft towels and lovely warm shower was a welcome end to long travel day. Picked up key from roadhouse and was hard to find motel as no visible signs or lighting. TV didn’t work despite our best efforts!

If you ever have to stay overnight in Narembeen, the motel is the best place in town. As far as I can make out, the only alternative is to sleep on the roadside. The motel looks pretty rough on the outside but the rooms, at least the one we stayed in, was not bad at all. Not very big, but certainly adequate for a night. ||||We looked for the reception office but could not find it. It turns out that you have to go to the roadhouse. I'm not sure why this was not explained in prior communications.||||What else can I tell you? We stayed in Narembeen because it was conveniently spaced geographically between two overnight stops. My best advice would be to revise your itinerary. Try Bruce Rock instead; it is quite close and looks nice.

We arrived in Narembeen after 7 pm and was very difficult to find this place which has no sign or light. We finally got the keys and the indication to get there thanks to the kind girl in the Roadhouse. Unfortunately the room they gave us was terrible, very dirty and stinky. The bathroom hadn't be cleaned up, the linen were stained and there was dust everywhere. Television didn't work. A bad experience which wasn't worth the 125 we paid!!!

When you can get a clean and tidy donga (1 brm unit) for a few bucks, don't expect the Ritz. Some people just don't get it. Excellent value for the money I happily paid. I had a great nights sleep there with comfy bed, tea and coffee and dinner at the Narembeen pub. Cheers Guys

Went to visit the Natembeen motel for lunch for a day trip from Hyden. Highly recommend the food and the service. An old pub with old fashioned family service and one of the best pub meals we ever came across.
