We pull in at the rest stop here each year on our travels up north for family christmas time. Always able to get a park and there is always a table free for us to sit at. Toilets handy, although at this visit one of them required some serious cleaning.

A well stocked and informed Visitor Information Centre. Open 7 days from 9am to 2pm. The staff are very helpful. If you want to experience Nambucca Valley from a local point of view call in and find the hidden treasures this beautiful location has to offer. 🐬

First Class service by local Volunteers. Giving very thorough answers to our questions. What to do and see in this Valley including the pristine Estuary. They even gave us more informed direction of places to see on our journey South to Sydney. Well worth a visit for information.

I was there a few weeks ago, I asked about camping spots and all the staff directed me to one older gentleman who was helpful but couldn't answer my questions. Sadly, in the background, the all Caucasian staff were talking poorly and derogatorily about an Indigenous women outside the centre. It was awful to hear and see how openly they were commenting without care that I (or anyone) was in their centre. Made me feel disgusted and sad.
