Nice little hidden place. Peace and quiet away from busy roads and nice outback for winter camp fires. Felicities are not updated but still okay.
The above was my original review before station reply. Now below is after station reply
Well, this station charges like any other caravan parks. Amenities are so old and outdated reminds you of the 80’s. The station owner must visit other caravan parks to update themselves before commenting star hotel etc. However, this place is so quiet and peaceful good for one night stay that’s all.

Great rustic and simple stop over. We enjoyed so much our one night here. Room is very basic, bathroom is ok with 3 hot showers, but what we loved was the atmosphere there. You can make your own fire pit and cook your food on it. There’s a kitchen with a sink, dish soap, kettle and microwave. A few animals like donkey, chicken and sheep around the farm plus all the birds. The guests area is enclosed so your dog can sniff around without any worries of getting lost. They also provided games: we started the nature puzzle so everyone else who comes after us can enjoy it.

Just arrived home from a fantastic 3 nights away staying at the old Shearer’s Quarters- Nalbarra. |Felt welcome from start to finish by the lovely hosts Keith and Lorris and owner Robert.|Great times around the best Fire Pit we have ever seen, kept roaring with plenty of supplied bush wood.|Having stayed at quite a few old shearer’s accommodations would rate these with one of the nicest.|You shouldn’t expect a lot but these were nice, large clean rooms with fresh linen, well laid out setup with toilets, laundry, HOT Showers, Kitchen and Dining Room.|The Station itself is interesting and worth a look with the supplied maps if you request.|Nice rock features and Breakaways along with plentiful wildlife. We saw Kangaroos, Emus, Dingo, Bush Turkey, Goats and heaps of bird life Tracks are very good as long as you have 4wd. We are planning to get back in September for the Wildflower season which is apparently sensational!|Highly recommend - 5 Stars

Not fancy but that's just how we like it. Experience true outback hospitality and take a walk back in time in the campkitchen. |Lots of room for our dogs to take a walk (just be cautious of other wildlife and 1080 baits). |Rustic amenities (could benefit from an upgrade).|There is something very calming and relaxing about these station stays. Come and support them and appreciate the outback life.

The road in was very smooth at the time and fairly scenic because the surrounding areas had had some rain so creeks were running. The downside of this was that some of the attractions were isolated, but we still could go to the breakaways which were some of the best and most extensive we have seen. Give yourself at least half a day to do this. The camping area is fairly large and surrounds the station workers quarters. Good showers and flat camping areas with some shade. Will go back to visit other attractions. Very friendly and helpful camp hosts.

We stayed 2 nights in our caravan. Station manager Rob came out to Kirkalocka truck stop rest area at sunrise, we found a beautiful Chook (Mrs Chook) Rob caught her and took her back to Nalbarra Station to live with his girls. Mrs Chook had survived over 3 weeks on her own. We loved our stay there great old farm house & cottage with old shearers quarters turned into accommodation. Camp kitchen was great. Good supply of firewood stacked for fires around camp-sites. Toilets and showers were clean and good hot water and pressure. Couldn't thank Rob enough for saving Mrs Cook and giving her a home. Great place to stay. There are peacocks Guinea Fowl ducks n chooks

Stayed for 2 nights hitched our caravan to power on the side of shearer’s quarters which had a well equiped kitchen. The manger Rob gave us the run down and the next day Matt sent us on a wonderful drive around the property where we saw lots of flowers and wildlife(emus red kangaroos Bungarra lizards red tailed cockatoos etc). We learnt a lot about a sheep station and the problem with wild dogs.As we had two little terriers we had to keep them on leads when travelling on the property as there had been many baits laid. Apparently none were near the homestead area so they were able to have a run near our caravan. Our hosts Rob Matt and Malanie made us feel very welcome so it ended up being a most enjoyable stay.

It was wet up north so we ventured into Nalbarra Station to seek shelter and even though it was too wet to see the Stations attractions we did get to spend a few nights in the shearers quarters out of the rain. We were looked after well and the facilities were great and hosts looked after us well. Basic rooms and kitchen but its all you need when out in the bush. Loved the serenity.
