The people working at the Murwillumbah visitor center are lovely. They always give great local information when I bring friends visiting. They even safely held onto my lost wallet someone had turned in (with cash in it!) until I could pick it up. If you bike the rail trail be sure to pop in. I just wish it was open later!

This centre is located at the Northern Rivers Rail Trail head, and opposite the bike shop. Small, but packed with information on Tweed and in particular the rail trail. Friendly and helpful staff, some off street parking available however this can be very busy.

Helpful friendly staff, good assortment of guide info as well as locally made items and postcards on sale. Now located in the old train station. Can still walk along the platform, rest of the track and yards looking sad after years of neglect.

Came in at the start of our trip uncertain of what do. Spoke to Glenn who gave us great recommendations of local sites and a great walk to do. Very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic which was great considering most business were still on reduced hours and we were facing rainy days.

Glenn - we made it to Sheep Creek the next day. Such a fantastic walk, we were the only ones there and had a great time!

DANGER WARNING "Rainforest Centre" sign was the reason we stopped. The sign on the door said to visit the old railway station, across two highways. We arrived to be told that there is no Rainforest Centre.

1. Please remove the rainforest sign.
2. Please provide safe crossings from the carpark.
