Amazing tour. Knowledgeable guides, great scenery and luxury accommodation with wonderful local produce. Fascinating to learn about the Murray Basin, all whilst walking through nature everyday. Emus, kangaroos and more birds than I can name (although the guides could).
Highly recommended.

I just had the best time. This trip was the perfect combination of incredible scenery, education, excercise and importantly for me; comfort! The accomodation was excellent, long, guilt-free, hot showers at the end of the day, delicious three course dinners, yummy and nutritious packed lunches and cooked breakfasts. I couldn't recommend this trip more highly. Special mention to Tony, who kept his cool whilst the group were losing theirs, to get us to the finish line! Sophie and Sally really looked after us too. All PTSD from my previous childhood trip to the Murray River completely healed - thank you Tony!

Our Murray River Trails - Walk in July 2024 was a very memorable experience. We saw the mighty Murray and surrounds at Sunrise, sunset and during the day.
The walking was easy with plenty of time to experience the bush and learn about the local area and the importance of the floods to the environment.
The houseboat accommodation was luxuriously comfortable.
The food and wine were very enjoyable.
Our guides Dan, Kim and Sophie were very knowledgeable and helpful.
Hopefully you will be lucky enough to witness some Emu whispering.
We would have no hesitation in recommending the Murray River Trails - Walk

I love Murray, and this was a wonderful way to explore it. With amazing staff, we were thoroughly spoiled on the beautiful houseboat. The food and wine were all excellent. The walking guides were great. I loved being able to explore the Murray on foot as well. We got to see places that we would not otherwise be able to access. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

My husband and I came to Australia for our 25th anniversary and the Murray River Walk was the centerpiece of our trip. We had such an amazing experience! Our guides, Dan and Cathy, and our boat host Sophie were so knowledgeable and friendly! Our fellow walkers were so fun and we very quickly felt like we were traveling with friends and family. The food and wine were absolutely amazing. The boat accommodations exceeded our expectations in every way. This was the perfect combination of nature, education and luxury!

This was an excellently organised and run tour. From our booking experience to the final group pic, there was so little room for improvement. The guides, Dan and Max were terrific and so knowledgeable as was Di, our hostess who looked after our culinary needs so well. Whilst there was wine served with each course of our main meals, I felt the selection could be improved upon. I get that the object was to serve local produce and wine, most of those erred did not meet my taste.
High River, our accommodation, is first class.

We have just completed the Murray River Walk - what a great walk and experience to do with a small group of like minded people and some amazing guides and support ladies. We were so well looked after and pampered from dawn to well after dusk - I particularly enjoyed learning so much about the murray river area and its history from our very passionate guide and - and we were in awe of the size and importance of the murray river basin- particularly when you walk through such a tiny area over the 4 days. Thanks to a great team led by Jo for looking after us so well and making it a fun, educational and memorable experience. PS - we loved our nightly spa - no tired muscles or joints for us! sue & terry

I completed my Murray River Walk in May this year. I loved the inclusions of bush foods. Sauces were particularly good! That was such a special experience to have with the group. Particularly enjoyed morning tea on the viewing platform and the silent walk through Pilby (connecting with trees!). Everyone should do this walk 🙂
