Avoid if possible, very average amenities located a good distance from the camping area. Camp sites are not level making positioning Caravans/camper trailers a challenge. Ashes from fires scattered every where too. The owners need to start putting money taken from tourists back into facilities and make it half decent to camp on this property. We will not return and will pass on our experience to others.|One positive staff were friendly!

Nice camp ground on the river
Peaceful
Fire wood a bit pricey $25 a bag
$20 in Kalbarri
Went to shower this morning
@8 am
No hot water
And yet it's an instant gas heater
Assuming gas bottles empty.
Not good enough
Had to pay for a shower in Kalbarri
How bizarre
Lift your game guys
Otherwise it's not a bad place to camp.

Offgrid bush camping. Great views of the river, quiet with lots of room. The flies were crazy but on par for this time of the year and location. Close to the national park and convenient to get to Kalbarri for supplies.

With plenty of tracks on the property, it is well suited to the 4WD enthusiast. We stayed for four nights at the Homestead campground located on the Murchison River. It is located a few km out of town on the road to Kalbarri NP, so well located for visiting the area.||They were fairly particular about check-in times: had to wait for the clock to tick over: this is advised beforehand though so plan your arrival al time. Campsites along the riverbank were reasonably generous in size but neighbours were all close by: not bush camping. Each site came with a fire pit which was taken advantage of.||Amenities were a modest walk from the campsites: a bit ordinary really and could do with an upgrade. Probably a bit of a queue if the place were busy like over school holidays.

Loved staying here, beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature. Friendly staff. Sites are a good size, quite sandy, with your own fire pit (but must bring own firewood or buy a $25 bag of logs). Amenities are quite a walk, flushing toilets and hot showers but quite basic. So peaceful and some lovely bird life. We wished we’d stayed longer. Only a short drive into Kalbarri township and NP. The 3km road in to the station is quite corrugated. Will definitely come back.

We loved our 2 week stay at Murchison House Station. It is a great place to relax and base yourself to discover all that is on offer in the area. 10 minutes into Kalbarri town, walk, lookouts. 25 minutes to Z-Bend and Skywalk national parks.
The camp sites are along the river bank with a locely view, all off grid. Amenities are clean, drinking water available. Calum and Belinda were very helpful and friendly.
There are some great walks around the station, along the river, old army relicks and the shearing shed and old homes to look at too. There is a communal fire pit, where everyone gathers for beer o'clock, a fire and a chat.
We Highly recommend staying here?

From the phone call to book to arrival so helpful. Where we camped was perfect. The availability to have a fire. The nocturnal visitors, the bird life, fishing, tracks to wander along. Dog friendly also a bonus. Thank you for letting us enjoy your paradise
