We thoroughly enjoyed our Leura Story Walking Tour. Sue's a great story teller - she's informative, knowledgeable, interesting & easy to listen to. Walking in the rain & drizzle made our experience even more memorable. We'd definitely recommend Mountains Tales & we'll be adding the Mt Victoria plus the Katoomba tours to our 'must do' list. A truly great tour - loved it. 5 🌟 🙂

We did the Katoomba and the Leura Walk with Sue and it was a great experience. She is profound expert of all the historical details and a wonderful storyteller with a good sense of humour. Our personal highlights were the numerous old photographs she added to the explanations and the skyline of Sydney, seen on the Leura Walk on the horizon. We can strongly recommend Sue’s tours in the Blue Mountains. Claudia and Roland, Switzerland

We had an amazing time on the weekend exploring the Blue Mountains village of Leura with Sue at Mountains Tales. Her engaging walking tour is a great all round introduction to the Federation town and we learned a huge amount. Bring a hat and some water. A must-do.

Sue took us on an interesting history walk of the colonial roots and personalities that have shaped Katoomba. First called ‘The Crushers’. We had a little shower of snow to start at Gerin’s Hotel, then visited the historic Court House before crossing back to town via the tunnel and learning about the guest houses, the railway and Katoomba as a honeymoon destination, before ending for a warm drink at the Carrington.
Sue’s knowledge and historic photographs were great!
Personally, I would have liked to know a bit more about the women of Katoomba.
Overall, highly recommended!
