The lady working in there was very friendly & helpful. Museum was larger than expected & very informative. Unfortunately no photos allowed in the first 2 rooms of the museum. Lots of interesting history in there. Spent 2 hours there which we did not expect ?

From the warm greeting on arrival to the wide range of exhibits on display, we really enjoyed our visit. The rock collection facinated the boys, the rabbit proof fence display and old machinery, us parents.

This is hands down the best visitors centre I have been to. The staff is so friendly and very informational. The prices of the things are reasonable and fantastic quality. The Museum is very cool. A Job well done the the owner who set it up. Will definitely stop by every time we pass mount magnet.

It's a shame when information centres aren't open on the weekend. The website says yes but the place is closed. I bought something last year and was so impressed we came through with a specific purpose to stop again. The caravan park is packed so the centre has lost valuable business. It's a wonderful resource and could do well to change the hours to 7 days.
