Stayed here in mid March for 2 nights.
Excellent place to stay. The rooms are spacious and very clean.
The pool on a 34 degree day was very much welcomed. Only a 5 minute walk into the heart of Bright.

I am part of a group of car enthusiasts, and we had stayed at the Motel Sierra two or three times previously, when it was called the Bogong View Motel. I have been trying to organise a group booking for 11 rooms at the SIERRA for March. I have emailed, and I have left two messages over a few days on their phone (03 5755 1422) listed on the website. I have received no replies at all. I have given up and we have now booked elsewhere. All other motels in Bright were now booked out. We have now booked in a nearby location. Just makes you wonder, they obviously don't need customers. As a result apart from the motel missing out on our tariff, the town of Bright eateries have probably lost about $2k, the local fuel stations, about $1k. Extremely disappointed, we had no replies, even if it was to say you couldn't accomodate us. We will stay in Bright again, later in the year, but won't bother wasting my time and effort on a business that obviously doesn't respect its customers. To get this review published I had to tick that we had been there on January of this new year. Obviously we haven't stayed thereon that date.

3 Stars...A bit underwhelming. Small rooms. Dated, needs an upgrade. Dark brick walls. Big sliding glass doors allow anyone to look right in the room. Carpets stained.
Large blocky box over the bed is worthless. Just prepare to hit your head on it every time you sit in the bed. I think I would remove them. They have no use. Light in them does not work.
Small T.V., most channels do not work. Frustrating. Beds uncomfortable, comforter is a brown blanket between 2 sheets.
IDK...for the price it works...a place to sleep. A shower. Would I return...maybe. with a new lower expectation. It is one of the cheaper hotels in Bright.
It serves its purpose.

Stayed 5 nights and used it to travel to Falls creek resort and Mount Hotham resort. Great location for both resorts.
Hotel was very clean and tidy, short walk to town centre. Safe and quiet.
Not a single complaint, I would highly recommend. Ring up and book direct. Management was receptive to a phone call to book.

We stayed at Motel Sierra on one of the busiest weekends and absolutely loved it. Great for families with the Pool and BBQ area - Peter was absolutely amazing and so helpful.
Recommend to anyone with families who want to be able to relax in the sun by a pool or BBQ!

Stayed here for a number of nights. Good beds and good bbq set up. The location is also close to town and Mystic Mountain trails. Will stay again in the future.

Booked room for 4 (room# 32) for two nights considering the good reviews and rating on google. The location is great, nice view from the rooms. The room was just spacious enough. Was happy at the first sight. But soon found out that the toilet was leaking. Reported the issue to the reception, and there was a makeshift arrangement made (take a look at the photo), with the promise that someone will fix it next morning. Nobody ever turned up after that. Also found out that out of three chairs in the room, one was in pretty unusable condition. The cleaning staff told that there were no spare chairs to replace.

In case you plan to have a barbeque, one of the grills does not work, and there are no utensils at all (unless you are carrying).

Overall I was a bit disappointed and will suggest to stay away. I am definitely not going back to this motel.

Couldn’t have asked for more, especially with the price! We’d turned up to a pre-booked and frankly unhygienic place elsewhere in Bright, and were fortunate enough to get some rooms here instead. The staff were all really friendly, the rooms were clean, and the heaters worked nicely for autumn weather. Very happy, thank you to the staff!
