There needs to be concrete slabs on the caravan sites as the whole place becomes a muddy pit. We were ankle deep in water and mud when heading to the amenities. The dump point is in the middle of the park and we noticed a smell whenever we walked past and you can see people emptying their cassettes. It should be in a discreet area. Otherwise this is a quiet park. Good for a nights stop over.

Facilities were basic and trees need pruning as small branches and masses of seed pods were falling down onto our van in the wind. We were led to believe that this park as others in this area had thermal artesian pools. When I asked the mangers what temperature the water was I was told it was 36 degrees and they couldn’t get it any higher. This alerted me and I asked why - it is just a small pool that is heated using town water. The sign at the pool basically infers it is what you would see at an artesian water pool. We paid $50 per night. We decided to leave and went to Gwydir Caravan Park which had proper Artesian water pools of varying temperatures and it was $40 per night. They had better sites including a kiosk where you could buy coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service there was excellent! I wouldn’t recommend Moree Tourist Park due to their deceitful advertising even though Artesian wasn’t stated. I spoke to a few other people who were in the pool and they were also disappointed. An honest tourist park would just advertise “Heated Pool”. We certainly wont go there again.

We stayed in a drive through site for one night on our road trip, and it was fine for this purpose. The amenities were clean but they should complete the job of modernising them. For example, the old sinks are still in use with two holes where the old taps used to be, and one new tap in the middle. Very strange! Adequate for a stopover but wouldn’t be a holiday destination for us.

Very good camping ground especially for female solo campertrailer traveller. Very clean amenities, lovely small camp kitchen, good laundry and access to two pools. One pool heated thermal spa, brilliant all for $38pn unpowered. Friendly reception.

first time Moree. some trepidation given many stories of huge crime. well it is a great town - sure you can find trouble but most towns same. van park great spot - we were fortunate to grab a very quiet private powered site. new park managers only been there for five weeks and really having a go to make a pleasant stay for guests. the sites weren’t as grassy as the pictures but spacious. the spa is not the artisan sourced water but lovely to plunge and then the adjacent pool. Plenty of mossies about so be prepared. the royal hotel allows dogs in beer garden which shortly is being refurbished. Amarok and Pally pubs unfortunately have no pets policy. but plenty to see and do in Moree and great Van park to spend a comfortable time. didn’t have a cabin so really can’t comment on rooms but had to give a rating! look old but cleaner always about. enjoy

We were looking for safety this time. So we stayed at caravan park. Very lovely lady in the reception and I read from wiki camps that there is a local cat name Simba. It was raining when we were here so we missed his night troll. Toilet is old but clean. It has washing machine and dryer. Just perfect !

Great little park. Drive through sites were excellent so we could stay hitched up to the car for easy exit the next day. Staff members were friendly. Bathrooms could do with a refresh but were functional.

It is a welcome rest stop in Moree. It's a caravan park with cabins. This time we stayed in a cabin. It is safe at night.
The cabin needed some work, and be careful using the bathroom at night as you could easily break a toe tripping on the metal track.
