Great place to stay. Right near Cavil Avenue. Comfy bed. Nice clean kitchen, bathroom and toilet. |Only complaint was. Went to us sandwitch toaster, saucepans, frypan, plates and bowls. Some were greasy and dirty . Reported to front desk. Said they would send a cleaner up. Found more dirty things in the cupboards. Lucky we like to rewash these things before we use. With our own dishwashing liquid and cloths. Dishwasher smelt bad. Did not use. |Overall a great stay though. |Thankyou

The resort is at the much quieter end of Cavill Avenue. Easy walking distance to Woolworths and multiple cafes/restaurants. We got a very god deal on a budget room. Level 5. Will come again but next time will book a superior room on a higher floor. Kate, the manager is wonderful. Very helpful.

We stayed in the penthouse it was so spacious, clean, and quiet. Loved it. The view was gorgeous from the balcony, walking distance to into Surfers Paradise, pool was great too. Totally recommend.

Just had our 4 th stay at Moorings
We loved our stay as always the spacious apartment was very clean and well presented clean linen n towels
Kate the manager was so friendly and professional and welcoming we requested a stay last minute as we had to check out of a hotel we were not happy with and Kate arranged our stay immediately. The large balcony and facing the river as always is the best location top spot for convenience beautiful pool and spa and sauna
Will be back for afew nights again in September

Worst experience we had. The staff especially the receptionist ,she was too rude and not helpful at all. The lady at the reception was not welcoming at all. I visited with my parents and I regret booking this hotel. Her behavior ruined our mood and visit to the Gold Coast. Hotel and rooms are way too old and not well-managed. They don't provide you toiletries, salt and pepper, no tissue paper AT ALL!!!
The old rude lady at the receptionist argued with my dad and I felt so bad. Her way of talking was very loud harsh and bad. Zero star. I wish I never booked that hotel.

The room itself was great, cleanliness was good.
What ruined the stay was the disgustingly rude woman titled "manager"

On two separate occasions, she was the absolute rudest managerial person I've ever had to deal with in any accommodation business, in any business ever, in fact.

Blunt, mean, refusing to let me speak, she was not in the slightest bit concerned that the plumbing under the kitchen sink had just fallen apart where it had already been very poorly repaired with silicone, only.

This flooded the kitchen 10 minutes before checking out.
Never have i ever been so pathetically spoken down to.

Clearly it's time for a career change, perhaps retirement, if you hate your job so much.

Loved our appartment. Only think that let it down is down is you get one roll of toilet paper, soap power for one load, one dishwasher detergent. For the price we paid, it's seemed a little miserable. Had to shop for all three. Plus, we had one hand towel and two shower towels, so we had to wash them. Swimming towels are for hire for $5 week. Never experience this in our travels before.
