Best date night spot! Super cosy and intimate inside, surrounded by really fun decor - great vibe! Had delicious cocktails, and wine (really solid date!) Had to hold ourselves back from ordering EVERYTHING on the menu - all so good! Waffle chip nachos are a MUST + we also smashed the pulled pork taco, beef brisket enchilada and honestly really wanted dessert but, date night so didn't but so going back for that!!! 11 out of 10! Service was top notch too, kudos to the young dude running the show Sunday night. Excellent stuff!

Had an awesome afternoon at MJ’s, a last minute local find for us!
We went with the set menu for 2 people and it definitely did not disappoint!
Nachos were lovely and the guacamole was so good! I’m a massive fan of street corn and that was great too! Plenty of food for both of us and the drinks were icy cold and reasonably priced!
I can also recommend the House Cider (Golden Axe) and the Arette Saco Reposado Tequila… yum!!

My partner and I hadn't tried good Mexican cuisine in a long while and stumbled across MJs on Google maps. Booked a table and approached the very busy venue on a Saturday night. The staff greeted us when they had a chance and took us up to the table, I loved the indoor decor and overall vibe.

We got menus quickly however due to under staffing and demand had to wait a little while to order. Once we ordered however the food came fast! It was all of a high quality standard and staff were friendly and accomodating.

Super cool spot and definitely an experience to try some delicious cocktails and spirits with your tacos. Check it out.

😍We ABSOLUTELY fell in love with this restaurant tonight!
MJ's Hideout definitely ticked all the boxes for us, the Customer Service, Food and Cocktails was so SATISFYING!🎯

We ordered Trio Dips and two Nachos (mince beef and pulled pork ) for Mains, three Cocktails, ALL for $130, totally WORTH IT AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED🤌, also one Nachos Mains is big enough to share between two people, highly suggest the Pulled Pork as it was AMAZING! 🤤
The place also offers take home boxes if you have ordered too much.

There is parking behind the building and the interior designs is incredible. This has become one of our favourite spots from now onwards.We will be back for more❤Fantastic❗

While we were excited to discover this cute little place we left halfway through the meals severely disappointed and subsequently cancelled our next plans to attend with friends. The cocktails were lovely but unfortunately food and the service was lacking. Dirty glasses and dirty seats, had to ask for service to place our orders, they all seemed too busy chatting amongst themselves to clean the premises or serve. On receiving our entrees we weren't even 1/4 way through then our meals turned up so we abandoned entrees to eat our meals. Meals were cold (I had to request my meal be heated) and lacked the flavour one would expect with Mexican food.

The food was great. I can't fault the service, they were so nice and accommodating. The place is small but not cramp. I liked the atmosphere. I would have given more stars but it is a little pricey. That being said, my group all left feeling happy we went.
