Stopped in for a birthday lunch, I got the arancini balls ($13) and the bacon and plum Parma ($30)
Good quality food what you’d expect out of your average pub/ sports bar
The plum sauce was fantastic
The only let down was no dressing in the salad, and it was the same across the table
Service was lovely and inside was nice and warm

FYI the Katsu burger does not include Korean fried chicken (as specified), but was instead a crumbed schnitzel and was quite small. The chips were also in a tiny take away tub, unsalted, no sauce. The meal was too small and 'easy made pub meal' for $27. Also had to wait a while to order on a chill Sunday lunch.

Food was good but the Parma was on the smaller side but was still nice. The Carlton on tap was cold. Good place to end the day after a long day. 65$ got me 2 pints, an entree and main

Hey, it's not their fault I've only given them a 4 - it's a sports bar, after all. I just found it too noisy for any conversation, that's all. Other than that, l guess it's a pretty good place. Definitely good for younger people, not my type of place though. 😊

4 different meals and we all enjoyed every bite. Great price and meals came out quickly ( they were quite busy). Maybe our go to pub when in Bendigo..

Came in here tonight for a couple of drinks. Got completely ignored by bar staff, even though was standing at the bar, wallet in hand, with no other patrons waiting to be served. Left after standing for 5 mins at an empty bar while staff talked amongst themselves. Would not recommend.

Nice spot to sit on a sunny day, but food was overpriced and below par. Ordered the Katsu burger for $27, which was advertised with fried chicken and served with chips. The burger that came out was small and had a regular chicken schnitzel in it, and the ‘chips’ were in a small takeaway tub, and had nearly no salt or taste to them. Was an okay meal, but no way worth $27 when compared to other pubs around Bendigo.
