I went by the Mission Event Center on Veterans Day. It's located on Shary Rd. about four blocks North of the expressway. The city of Mission was handing out BBQ plates for Veterans, so I went to check it out. They were most generous in that I received 2 plates of delicious smoked Chicken, served with rice and beans, bread, and Jalapenos. Thank you City of Mission for making my Veterans Day special l.

This place is really great for events. Its clean and beautiful. We held our Mission Lions Club Annual Banquet here at the Tangerine Room. They can modify the rooms for the size needed. Restrooms are very clean. Plenty of parking lot. Just overall a great experience

Beautiful venue. The staff is amazing to work with. I just hope the city of Mission stops approving car washes to be built around the venue. Two car washes was enough, but it has three around the Mission Event Center. I hope they use the empty space for restaurants (new to the RGV), or hotels.

Mission Event Center is a beautiful Venue - I recently captured a Leah and Omar's wedding there, I was blown away by its stunning environment and the staff went above and beyond for the event. From a photography perspective, the venue offered me the ability to capture all sort of stunning angels and images, while also offering a comfortable space for the couple and their guest. The location itself is stunning and in a beautiful area, offering a lovely place for wedding photography. Highly recommended!

City of Mission lead event coordinator needs a "What the heck were you thinking?" displaying huge stage banner on music stage of City Admin. members & Mayor as opposed to maybe, uh, Independence Day July 4th or some form of historic graphics honoring such an important day for our great Nation. Sometimes it's NOT always about the Administration & Mayor. No lighting for tent vendors, the hours of event were known to be during late evening which is dark. Not enough Trask cans, people don't want to touch & open a filthy lid to dispose of their trash. Not enough seating even after purchasing food. Just very unorganized. Oh well, that's Mission I guess.
